I think they are already there or on the way currently. Jettison the cargo? (hackett)

Well there's an old wives' tale about how planes dump the shit from the lavatory on cornfields...

Leave him for the Tories to deal with, add to their burden.

Truss could teach him the proper way to GTFO in record time!!!

With Payton it is his call on where he wants to coach. Will get multiple offers. He left the Saints with term left on his contract this the compensation. Chubb is a free agent so it will cost the Saints cap room to get him signed. And Payton is likely to wait out the season to see who comes calling.

The main competition for his services would be the chargers. There’s just no choosing between Herbert and Wilson. Just due to age and measurables. A decade younger and like 7 inches taller and more mobile now. Whether spanos ponies up the money to get him or not.

Albert O, with Wilson at QB the TE position won’t get a lot of looks over the middle. So they don’t need to invest big money on that position.
He would definitely have more success with that offense. But if we trade for him, then maybe we can coax him into extending with us before he has options.

I think NO ownership wouldn’t do Payton dirty like that. Outside of him asking to go to Carolina who is in division they won’t have any issues letting him pick his spot even if it is in the NFC.

The Broncos really are becoming the NFL's Sens. Except there's no pick protection. For both the 1st and 2nd rounds. For the next two years.

Never seen pick protection in the nfl.

Houston has given up a 4OA in the watson deal, a 3OA in the Tunsil deal, Seattle gave 10OA for Adams, Cleveland will give whatever they have to this draft which is currently at 4OA in their Watson deal, Saints owe Philly their pick this year, Rams owe Detroit their pick in the Stafford deal, etc.

That’s how it is in the nfl.

Always risk when You deal the following years draft picks. But other teams coaching and management staff are not locked in to being there a long time so they don’t want to wait on draft picks that can be pushed a year or two down the line.

Pretty sure the Broncos gave up the first set of picks THIS year already :

So there is only next drafts 1st and 2nd to give the Seahawks. The rest has already occured.

Here’s one for you nostalgia buffs:

Russ Washington made Five Pro Bowls. Fred Carr, Larry Csonka and Haven Moses were other notables who went in the next Five picks.

Domres didn’t amount to anything but Fred Dryer, Bill Stanfil and Rufus Mayes went in the next 5.

There’s a reason you’ve never heard of Steve Tensi.

Is it wrong that I remember Fred more for his role as Hunter on TV than as a defensive end in the NFL?

No. I literally had no idea he was a football player growing up in the 80s. I found out even later that Fred Williamson from “From Dusk Till Dawn” was as well. My dad referred to him as “The Hammer” in an offhand reference and I asked him why.

Side note: Hunter had one of the best all time theme songs.

I remembered it fondly. As such, I should've just left it alone as a pleasant memory. Instead, I headed over to youtube to actually revisit it. Not quite sure it stood the test of time.

I wasn't even referring to that, just the video itself. So...pretentious.

But hey if it makes him play better, I don't care if he trots out there onto the field in Buddhist attire.
I don't get the fanbase and their reaction to this. Would people now prefer he just give up and stay injured? Would they prefer he say yeah we stink and we are done for the year? All this talk of trading everyone is equally stupid, what is a 3rd round pick going to get us in a year that makes it worth trading productive players now? If Jerry or Bradley were pulling diva moves and sitting out of practices go ahead and trade them. They aren't and Russ isn't. They want to win, they are pissed off more than any fan is for losing right now. People should appreciate that they still care but it's gotten to the point that anything Russ says is just going to rile up so called fans.

They say you learn a lot more about people in tough times than good ones and man isn't this the case now. Most of the so called fans could certainly be upset or even apathetic, but the level of turning on the team and its players and coaches in our times these days is incredible.

Not quite sure why my post is being quoted for this but hey go off.

And Broncos fans are more than justified in their frustration right now.
