Throw it underneath on 1st and goal and you still have time to spike the ball. You might even get a run or QB sneak situation.

We'd run out of time. Russ is a mess and can't possibly figure out how to pull off that kind of high level thinking.

Yeah, why would 3 INTs have an impact on the outcome of the game... :help:
I mean maybe one of the three were actually his fault if you watched the game. I didn't have an issue with the last throw, but trusting a backup TE to come up with that catch is questionable. If that was Sutton I bet he's making that catch 99% of the time.

He and Jeudy seemed to miscommunicate on the first one.

The second one was poorly underthrown. If he leads Sutton into that pass he's gone for a TD. Instead the safety cuts it off.

The third one is just an inexcusable throw. The TE is fully covered. The check-down option was wide open. At the worst, throw it away. But don't force it to a guy who isn't expected to come down with that ball.
