They still have two games against the Chargers, one against the Patriots, and one against the Raiders. If they beat the bad teams they'll finish 10-7 at worst.

If they do pull that off, 10 wins is not a guaranteed lock but like 95% chance of playoffs. I will have all the respect in the world for Payton if he pulls that off. I always attributed a lot to Brees for his success but he’s come in and brought some order and respectability to this organization just as promised.
