I'm with you on that. But these are physical freaks, hyped up on adrenaline. Even the best behaved would respond poorly to being headbutted. I'm mostly mad the refs didn't see what Stroud did.

That was such a sloppy half. Basically gave them 4 free points on a bone head penalty. Our D just kept giving up big plays. Then our offensive line got abused and missed a ton of blocks. Russ is just staring down his first option and isn't finding the wide open players. Sutton looks like he did last year and dropping everything. Also the refs, for some reason, are refusing to call them for PI.

I love Perna, but I think on this play Russ was under enough pressure that he had to abort. That said, I don't know how he doesn't find Jeudy more often.
