How does anyone watch the NBA? Absolutely no flow to the end of the game, 50 time outs followed by 50 commercial breaks.
I agree. Basketball sucks. People (rightfully) complain about flopping in soccer and how they can’t watch it because of that but then will watch basketball? Makes no sense to me.

What annoys me is the amount of fouls upon driving to the net. Not sure if it's up from back in the day, but it feels like every drive ends up with someone going to the line. Maybe that's just basketball.

I like the NBA product a hell of a lot more than I did back in the Shaq/Kobe heyday. Even when the Nuggets were good during that time I just couldn’t get into it.

That said, there are some things the league needs to crack down on, most especially take fouls. Unfortunately the whole thing where the last two minutes take two hours is just…basketball.

On a side note, ha ha, Jazz got ousted. And from what I understand it was a travel call that was the final nail.

Why the hell did the Broncos bring back that POS fumbler?
Probably because he and Wilson are Wisconsin buddies, and Russ probably advocated for him.

I think it's a huge mistake because Gordon sucks and will take touches away from Williams but whatever it's not like the Broncos are winning anything of value. There is a reason no one else was offering Gordon a contract. We'd been much better off trying to draft someone or just rolling with Williams and Boone.

It's fine. Yes, he had some ridiculously bad fumbles, but he's also a very talented and effective runner. So long as he ain't the feature back, you are not going to find anyone comparable on the market as the #2 RB.

I'm way more concerned about the offensive line. They were horrible last year, and now they actually have a legit franchise QB to protect.

Good pass catcher, decent pass pro, $2.5m contract and unlikely to get most of his bonuses so maybe $3m total cost. Plus it allows them to wait until very late in the draft or for free agency to sign future RB depth to back up Williams a year from now. Its a decent deal.

Got to say that for all good Paton has done. This draft was a big time bust. I mean no first round makes it tougher, but overall Paton didn't find much value.

Bonitto seems ok but more a mix in guy when Chubb and Gregory need breaks. Plus doesn't really seem to be a position of need.

Dulcich is a meh pick to me. Super raw, not sure I see the value. I guess we'll see.

After that it went south pretty quickly. Lot of head scratchers.

Failed to address inside linebacker for like the 15th year in a row. Not sure why this organization refuses to address one of the more important defensive positions.

RT seems to be a concern point. Didn't bring in any competition.

We'll see I guess but on paper this was easily Paton's worst few days as GM.

agree with ya

this feels a lot like the class of 2017 where the Broncos tried to get cute with a bunch of niche role players and they all pretty much ended up flopping....

the 2nd rounder this year is a pure pass rushing specialist....the TE pretty much is only a pass catching threat......the WR being pretty much only drafted to return kicks/punts....and the CB already probably pegged into being just a slot CB.

Not impressed really at all. I guess they picked up a 3rd rounder for next year? I didn't watch the draft, but if that's the case....that might have been the only great thing Paton did all day.

I liked rounds 2-4 as I mentioned above though the lack of a tackle and ilb prospects is disturbing.

Rounds 5-7 they picked a bunch of guys that maybe can max out contributing on special teams. Its late round so its all a crap shoot anyways but going for higher ceiling would be nice

Yeah, it was a tough road, given they didn't pick until the 60something pick.

I actually liked the Bonitto pick, as they are going to need guys who can put pressure on Mahomes, Herbert, etc. Talented player, solid upside.

With Dulcich, I'm kind of meh. He's a decent pass catching TE who can't block. Kind of like the one they have now (Okwebwavakdsjhvvwrnam), and the one they had last year (Fant). Would have preferred a ILB pick here.

In rounds 5-7, who knows? I feel those rounds are generally for backup players, special teams guys, etc. With some positions (interior OL, RB, LB) maybe they find a couple of starters. Doubtful, but we'll see.

I did like the trade to move up in the 3rd round next season. They currently have no 1st/2nd, so getting a 2nd player in the top 100 next season is a good move.
