WTF the NBA playoffs started? Have they been good because even though I might be living under a rock, I have heard absolutely zero hype about them...
Apart from the game Tatum won for the Celtics in the closing seconds (ha ha f*** you Kyrie) I don’t think they have been.

I’m just hoping for the clean sweep just to end this. I knew it would be bad but this is embarrassing.

Nuggets need to do more than just hope Murray is healthy next season. More needs to be done. MUCH more.

Golden State is really really really good. Think they might be the best team in the league right now. Going to be tough to see anyone beating them.

the advantage that GS has in the backcourt over the Nuggets is insane. It’s not even close. If our guards played lousy this one was gonna be over quickly - which is exactly what’s happening.

Everyone knew there was no one in the bench unit to guard Poole and sure enough he's done as expected making all the difference in both games.

My guy missed the first pitch of the game and was like, nope no more.

We wouldn’t need robo umps if other umps came close to this

I'm back on the "We need to move on from Will Barton III" wagon. Dude is just so insanely inconsistent, he really is Burakovsky in basketball player form.
The problem is he's the #2/#3 option atm, Thrill as 4th or 5th option is awesome

And that's the problem, much like with the Avs and Jost/JTC--you can't rely on guys like that as depth options when the players in front of them keep getting hurt. I've said before the investment in MPJ was a bad, bad move by an otherwise good front office in Denver, and I stand by that. Too injury prone, too one-dimensional, and too inconsistent. Add to that Jamal Murray's knee taking f***ing forever to heal and you have an over-reliance on Thrill night in, night out.

Have to find a different way to fill out the depth chart. This is not acceptable.

I don't think MPJ contract is bad, considering this is how the NBA is set up. Blame the CBA. If the Nuggets didn't pay him, then he was leaving. Good luck trying to get good players here as a free agent.

However, MPJ just came off a season where he was one the 2nd most efficient scorer in the league (19+ ppg) he did that as a 1st year starter and was 22/23 year old. His one-dimension is elite.

Only issue Tim Connelly has done is he can't find a damn wing to save his life and his love for undersized guards.

Keep Jokic, Murray, and Bones. The rest of the roster needs to be reworked, IMO. You need some real defenders on this team.

And when he's healthy, that's fine. But it was obvious when he was bricking everything to start the season that he was not healthy at all, and sure enough his wonky back snapped like a twig.

I still say that was a bad bet. That's also because I don't particularly care for him off the court either.

Whatever the case, I just wish the goddamned Nuggets could find someone to drain threes on a consistent basis. It feels like every single NBA team has at least one guy who can do that, but not the Nuggets. I wanted to reach through the screen and kill Bryn Forbes last night...like...what the hell, that's what you're THERE for, dude!!!!

I'm not sure Boogie is the right fit for us. His job is to let Jokic rest, but he ends up getting called a lot. The refs hate his guts even more than they hate Jokic.
He’s been beyond invaluable in shoring up the team’s depth. When before the bench was a total liability this season, it actually became a strength down the stretch. If they get rid of him they’ll regret it.

I’m still a Gordon fan. Have never been on the Barton train though.

This team does need a “D and 3” guy. They have for what seems like forever.

Yeah I'd keep Gordon. I just hate how he suffers from the same wild inconsistency that everyone on the Nuggets outside of the Big Serb does.

I've even come to like both Greens. But I'm just never gonna believe they can be a legit contender in the West so long as they have to rely so heavily on Thrill.

Malone with some real loser mentality quotes over the last few days. Not surprised at all to see Nuggets fans sour on him
The nuggets fans that are sour on him are the same ones that want him fired during the regular season lol

are nuggets fans souring on him? I still like Malone. I think bringing in Boogie may have been a mistake that has rocked the chemistry that Malone built. But all that being said if everyone got along with Boogie I’d throw Barton to the wolves in a split second.
