I haven't been following the Cubs the way I have in the past, but I've put two games on the radio so far, and Pat Hughes hasn't been on either. Is he done now? I Google and couldn't find anything.

That would be a huge loss...

T-Wolves are mess

And Mavs are mess and could be facing a major punishment from NBA

Cuban/Mavs under investigation for throwing game essentially and Irving trade was flop for Dallas

Literally everyone except the Wolves and Mavs knew those trades were going to end up poorly for them.

But again, dysfunction is the status quo for the Wolves at least. Their second winningest coach ever had under a hundred freaking wins until a few weeks ago!

It’s time for Eloy’s annual early season stint on the IL.

I wonder who will be next?

In all seriousness it does suck that many of the Sox young core have been prone to consistent injury/IL time. It’s really hampered their development both individually and as a unit.
Guy can't run 180 feet w/o pulling a hammy. After how many weeks of working with professional trainers? What an embarrassment.

Um this is getting ridiculous 2 weeks in. These guys just can't stay healthy. I give up.

My theory has always been today's athletes especially in sports it isn't required are too focused on muscle building/weightlifting aspects of exercise and that is why we see such an increase in strains, tears, etc. today with muscles and hamstrings. As well as some of the chronic back issues in some athletes

Well yeah, they all want to get jacked instead of working on flexibility. And that's kind of what baseball has been pushing towards with so much living and dying by the HR ball. That said... I don't see so many key players going down with soft tissue injuries on other MLB teams so often... which leads me to believe it's something with nutrition/training staff.

They did? Don't ever remember seeing that.
Yeah, after Eloy and Robert got injured in 2021 they fired the strength and conditioning coach and after last year they wiped the training staff completely.
I thought they fired everyone in 2021 as well but it was just one guy.

The issue with the White Sox is probably the fact that they don't spend any f***ing money on staff that aren't directly involved in the on-field product. They likely replaced their shitty training staff with cheap, equally shitty training personnel.

This is just f***ing absurd, at this point. It's not hard to come up with a stretching and training program to avoid muscle injuries....
