Guess it's not coming home, mates.

And as someone who really has no interest in soccer, go Morocco. And I only say that because I think them winning would annoy the most soccer fans.

“Just happened” aka drafted.

Then continued to build great defenses around him. Put solid weapons around him.

Brady was outstanding but so was every aspect of that organization, including the coaching which you just brushed aside ignorantly.

But no. No. They’re complete garbage and just got lucky and cheated and if it wasn’t for this and that and whatever else they’d be losers. Smh

Look I’m not a pats or Astros fan….but you guys gotta be able to recognize successful, winning organizations when you see them. And give proper respects.

This all started because I want to see Abreu get a chance at a championship, and he has a better chance in HOU than just about anywhere else. And that goes to show you how consistently great HOU is. And they deserve credit for building a lasting product. That’s something the Sox need to emulate when they eventually get new ownership.

lolololol this is such an immature, self-righteous glob of BS. Grow up. Im so sick of your “f this f that f you and you’re effing yada yada yada” responses. You’re seriously such a little girl.

Lol.

Hey ya kno I just thought of something…say ChiHawks10…didn’t the Chicago White Sox cheat to win a WS?

What so it was 100 years ago, that makes it ok?

When is the cut off on how much time needs to pass before it’s acceptable to root for a cheater? 50 years? 25?

I cheated at a game of connect 4 when I was a little kid. Does that count?

Lol but still…they drafted him. It’s not like he fell out of the sky. They always found gems deep in the draft those pats teams. Funny thing is I don’t even like Brady or NE. But that doesn’t mean I don’t recognize their greatness or it’s legitimacy. They are what they are. It’s annoying, but they are the greatest dynasty in NFL history.

How the hell are you even a Sox fan? 🤣

This may be one of the dumbest things ever said on this board.

Brady was drafted 199th. That was just pure luck as well as the injury to Bledsoe that allows him to start. A shit ton of luck went his way…..including Giselle! But to lay that on the org as being some awesome prognosticators then they would have drafted Brady first if that was the case. After all he is the GOAT….why would the supposed best run org draft the goat 199th? The ‘great org’ stuff came after the winning started not before. Pats were a f***ing laughingstock in the NFL for decades.

Also, Belichick was probably on his last leg until that fateful injury to Bledsoe that gave him the opportunity after sitting on the bench a few years. After a couple other failed HC positions.

Lots and lots and lots of luck to get that org pointed in the right direction after decades of futility.

I'm going to have to disagree with most of you. Obviously the Patriots were lucky to nab Brady, but it's way beyond just him. Most of those super bowl teams had very good defenses. And to draft near the bottom of the draft for 20 years and still remain competitive is astonishing. They still are competitive. How are they not 1-11 instread of 6-6? They've basically done what no other team in professional sports has done over the last 22-23 years.

Almost never watch the Army-Navy game but decided yesterday to have it on just for background noise if nothing else. Turned out to have a pretty crazy finish and ending in OT.

Haven’t watched an army game probably ever, but don’t they have a linebacker expected to go round-1? How’d he look? I have no idea how that shakes out with his military commitment.

Wasn't watching close enough to notice the Army LB. Maybe he was filling the holes and stopping a bunch of runs (Navy only had 3 pass att). But nobody really seemed to stand out on the Army defense. If it was Andre Carter, stats show 1 solo, 3 assisted tackles, 1 pass deflection.
Game was actually pretty boring with a bunch of punts (18), up until the very end. In regulation, Navy's TD was on a 77 yd run and Army's came from a blocked punt. In between those two plays, a lot of 3 yard runs.

I am with you on that. The rub is that they got the start with a shit ton of luck and people forget that. Yes they had a great run after winning the first one and drafted well. the biggest thing they did was fall in love with Brady, Gronk, a few others, then traded players after winning for picks to reload and manage the cap. THAT is where they excelled the most is mgmt above Belichick in my eyes. I just hope KD has the same sack for the Hawks to do that.

Bulls, or more precisely Donovan, play stupid basketball and lose on final 0.5 sec lob. 7 points were scored in the last 2 sec of OT. DJ Jr had a chance to win it in regulation but missed a FT.

Illini got a damn good win versus #2 Texas and then dropped a stinker versus unranked Penn State, and the end result of the week was dropping a spot in the rankings.

I'll take it.

For all the smoke, Cubs appear to be doing absolutely nothing this off-season.
