Anderson now 0-11 vs Texas...and Texas hits homer off Kopech and Sox hitters putting weak grounders to the infield...

And Kopech blows up...inefficient..too manynpitvhes ..tires and they hit him.

Needs a change up as an out pitch...missing from his arsenal..

Sox with nice Sunday effort have 8-2 lead in 9th

Giolito finally has his ERA back under 5

Good News/Bad News on division front

Twins lost = Great
Guardians won = Darn

Still Sox will be back to 2 GB if they hold on

So, remember that CF for Red Sox who misplayed ball and then gave up on play a few weeks ago

Well, he is going to be back in lowlights and news

He should have been DFA after the fiasco quitting on play a few weeks back and this should be end of his time as ML CF

You can't have a CF who continues to make mistakes (And who is awful hitter) and now is spending time in field arguing with fans in stands and having to be restrained by teammates because he keeps doing it

Lol….Duran isn’t going anywhere. He’s one of the pieces they’re building around for their future. Pretty sure he was the #2 prospect in their entire system heading into this season.

A couple rookie mistakes and his career should be over?

NBA really needs the Nets ownership to stand up to Durant

He is demanding the GM/Coach be fired or he be traded

I would tell him to go "f*** himself" if I was owner

Surely at some point an NBA owner will grow a spine, right?

The following shows the drastic decline in both SLG and OPS from 2021 to 2022 for several key White Sox hitters:

Anderson: Went from .469/.806 in 2021 to 395/.734 here in 2022

Moncada: .412/.787 < .315/.577

Pollock: .536/.892(for the LAD) < .354/.640

Sheets: .506/.830 < .387/.672

Grandal: .520/.939 < .243/.532

Garcia: .376/.711 < .282/.522

Robert: .567/.946 < .456/.791

Engel: .496/.832 < .351/.645

Harrison: .400/.741(for WSH and OAK) < .373/.683

Overall that accounts for the majority of our lineup on a nightly basis. Some of the #s are truly staggering. The only outliers are Abreu, Eloy, and Vaughn(the first 2 are about the same, AV has actually somehow improved believe it or not…). But again the vast majority of this teams hitters have all seen their power/slugging fall off a cliff. And it’s collectively destroyed our offense. We can’t compete until this changes.

Good for Heyward

He has been treated like shit unfairly by Cub fans for years

The reality is he has had several good years for team and provided Cubs with GG caliber D consistently

He is far from the terrible player Cub fans have made him out to be thru his time in Chicago

He never had a single 3 WAR season and has accumulated 1.4 total war over the past 3 seasons

The best thing he did in a Cubs uniform is give a speech. You have a very strange definition of good.

I’m skeptical that you would feel this way if he had been on the White Sox.

Your takes in baseball are as bad as your takes in hockey and football.
It’s amazing that some people can watch the game but not really see it.

Heyward’s defense was important to the 2016 and 2017 teams but eventually his bat was so bad he was unplayable and his defense started to decline

His contract never hurt Cubs

Cubs ownership being cheap was issue

He provided GG level D and occasional moments on offense

Was he worth the contract? No but he was far from the absolute horrible player Cub fans painted him as and then was scapegoated by Cub fans and some of the media as part of blame for demise of Cubs when reality was ownership prematurely shut Cubs window and blew it up

The fact some people actually blamed him for Cubs financial issues in an uncapped league with billionaire owners who print money because of Wrigley Field while getting handouts from city/state was absurd
