Idk what kinda people you were talking to, but I don't recall ever hearing anybody blaming Heyward for the cubs not signing players. Blamed the contract? Maybe, but not the guy himself...And only the biggest owner-brown nosers ever parroted that bs.

Right it’s a total strawman argument. Most people love Heyward

Sosa with 1st career HR tonight. I really hope this kid can be answer to 2B situation going forward

Also, honest question

Has Moncada ever put any effort into running to first after contact? Could have beat that throw if he put in even 50% effort but he as always puts in not even half assed effort

Honest answer. Very few people in MLB put any effort into running to first these days. It's not a Moncada thing. It's an MLB thing. Not a defense of Moncada, more condemnation of the entirety of MLB.

That's what they're instructed to do these days, trying to prevent injuries.

Maybe they should train better then. Stop focusing entirely on strength and bulking up muscle mass, and start focusing more on flexibility and elasticity of the muscles. Professional athletes should rarely get injured running out contact to 1st base.

The White Sox are so seriously so lame. You can see it on the players faces that nobody has fun or enjoys playing for this team. Nobody is flashy or exciting(except for Robert who like everyone else goes on the IL every other week). We’ve been surpassed by Seattle, Baltimore, and just about everyone else in terms of future outlook/exciting young talent. Nobody talks about us. Nobody cares about us. We’re a middling nobody team stuck in no man’s land. Boring as hell to watch. Absolutely nothing about what we do is entertaining. As I’ve said in recent posts we don’t hit home runs or turn exciting double plays or make diving catches or steal home. We hit ground balls. We get injured while jogging. We’re slow and inept. Our manager and front office are inept. Owner is cheap. I hate being a fan of this franchise at the moment. Major changes are needed.

Get rid of Moncada already

A f***up by him has now crossed plate and Royals are primed to tie and take lead now

f***ing Moncada again with another mistake and Royals with runners on corners

What they need to do in the offseason is extend tony and frank for 5 more years and spend 50mil on the bp and another 40 on starting pitching. Winning every game 3-2 is what all the best teams do.

Royals poundd them tonight...thisvis over...No Lo Contendete..

Sox finished...finite.. srsson in the trash..Moncada is trash all seadon..Grandal either finite or never recovered from injuries...Power declines across too many players and now ...still. too may cannotvevrn make contact enough.
Pitching slump of starters and bullpen sincexalk-star beeL.Sox leaving RUSP instead of driving g them in..and bullpen can't hold leafs...orvif behind not enough hottongvto expect a comeback.. Sox making eookiescof other teams look like franchise superstars..Sox vets meanwhile practice puts and stranded on badepaths.

Not good..Not exciting...BRITTLE...lineup cannotcstay healthy...It is all going bad...Cesse only real bright spot for season and maybe tgat sloughs off badly now that the give up in futility hits the pkayer realization mindset if it has not already done so.

Looks like an Annus Horribilis for Sox.

And today stranding runners again and again and again..2x with bases loaded and nobody Outland tgey let Grienke get out of the jam...Sox I believecarevnow 3 for 27 with runners in scoring position in this series..That is utter fail..No clutch...TLR loser ball. Cannot even get sac fly RBIs or walk in RBIs...Ugly..Fuility to the max.

AbreuGrandal MoncDda=Cuna power outtage and no clutch =total surrender.

Fail ..bigtime fail.
