Yeah. You could argue for him to be the starter. And he didn't even make the team. But that's fine - the Sox needed him today. If he was on the team, the Sox may of lost today.

And Illnihockey, don't look at Horton's ERA in college because he is 53 IPs into his post TJS career. So his ERA in college is irrelevent.

I know what his ERA was, I know he was not a first round pick before the college World Series. Maybe it’ll work out but his entire stock is tied to two games he pitched in the college World Series. How often do late risers succeed in any sport? Not often
