Yes. Caught tons of shit about it last year.

The Sox talent was overrated by everyone, myself included. Do I think most of the players true talent is as poor as they're playing this year? No, but the best they can hope for with this group is winning the ALC and getting smoked in the WC round or ALDS.

I don't disagree, but the hitters are completely ruined. I hope that Lynn and Giolito can bounce back next year with a full ST. If they don't get the velocity on their fastballs back, they're toast though.

It's weird how bad the Sox are at home - now 8 games under .500 @ 17-25. On the road their record is more than fine.

It goes beyond just those 2. The roster is extremely flawed:

- too many DHs, poor defense
- too many hitters with zero plate discipline
- not enough lefty pop
- too much focus and lots of wasted $ on the bullpen

And then on top of all of that they went and hired a clueless manager, inept hitting coach, poor strength and conditioning coaches, 3rd base coach, head athletic trainer, etc…all garbage. GM, front office, and ownership all guilty. Everyone involved.

Put it all together and you’ve got the 2022 Chicago White Sox, the most disappointing team in all MLB.
