You see now why I don't get optimistic with this team when it comes to ifs and maybes. They never put anything consistent together positive, and with them constantly underachieving they haven't earned the right for me or anyone to think they'll start playing better. Getting embarrassed at home by the Twins erases any slight positivity there was playing well at SF.Can’t stay injured forever, of course they can get healthy…and like I said despite some bad results against weak competition that doesn’t change the FACT that in general over that large of a sample it’s easier to get wins against bad teams as opposed to good teams…
Also despite the bad moves that doesn’t mean there havnt been solid TDL additions too(like Tepera) and the opportunity to add more again here in 2022.
Just swept the Giants in SF. Hendriks returns this week. Eloy, Grandal, and Bummer getting close too. Twins series next at home in Chicago. Twins just lost today so now going in to that series we’re gonna be just 4.5 games back. Sox are starting to play better. Pitching and hitting. The time is NOW to get on a roll and get in 1st!
I don't expect teams to have any interest in Giolito either. Arguable for Lynn as he's had a big velocity drop and has a 4.50 ERA in a small sample size, along with being 35.At TDL they should be all ears on Lynn, Giolito and Moncada if anyone has interest as well as a player like Pollack, Harrison or any of the bullpen arms
In next couple weeks the Sox are likely to be out of this barring a miracle run and should be looking at acquiring assets
I dont expect any teams to have interest in Moncada though nor do I think Hahn can actually make a good trade at this point
Frank menechino's career better be over post white sox too. Guy completely drained the power of a lineup that should have been near the top of baseball in home runs. Their approach is like an NL team in the 90s...i guess that could be the old drunkards fault too.
Yup it feels like Rosemont or something tbh. The Cubs sold out on TV with the Marquee Network and they sold out Wrigleyville. Sad to seeI'm in town from Florida this weekend and went to Wrigley Saturday night. Cubs won so it was nice to sing go Cubs go after a win in a night in Chicago, but I still can't get over how much Wrigeyville has changed. Once you are inside the park and in the bleachers it generally feels the same, but the surrounding area doesn't feel like it used to. Felt so corporate now
