7'0 wingspan.. lordy. AK definitely has a type that's for sure.
Not really anything wrong with drafting that type in today's NBA, especially at #18. Not gonna get a game changer at #18. So get the guy whose profile (measurables, intangibles, etc) best defines a 3-d type role player, with some upside potential. He just needs to add a bit of muscle/weight and get more reps on his shooting. Both of which he'll be getting plenty of in the NBA.

Said he watched a ton of DeRozan and that he's really excited to be joining the Bulls.

Why was Robert not in the lineup? MAINTENANCE DAY?Again? Injured ...again? TLR being "extra careful"? IF Robert is this fragile he will be useless..never heard of such pampering..

Yankees would never do it...just pkay your best and pummel the opos...instead TLR is going to get serious I guess only at the hal-way point...Meanwhile more losses pile up due to not putting gnout best lineup of pkayers whare available...instead he restsvone of his best pkayers not to mention how brutal Garcia was in CF yesterday....and no threat to hit to boot.

TLR's decisions (unless given a kegit excuse lije actual injury) leave me baffled...as if he thinks throwing away potential wins without proper competing is ok until some sort of sprint to the finish the last 2 or 2 and a half months.

Remember too tgatvoeople pay to go see the Sox and TLR gives the Garciacover Robert? Yankees fans would never let their team pamper their stats with so much time off.

If Siz players that fragile they cannot take it then they need to go into another line of work.

TLR is garbage.

Did tony really call for kopech to throw at the guy? I seriously hope not, this dumpster manager is concerned with everything but winning it seems.

Jimmy Butler was taken when?

When was the current MVP taken?

Fire La Russia...Fire the hitting coach..Firevtgevpitching coach...Fire the players...Fire Chick Garfein who stated Sox woukd win the Division by 20 games...Fire everybody.....ship crashed on the rocks.

Woeful.

To me the best way to fix this rebuild is to start with a new hitting coach, with a completely different approach. The over-abundance of groundball outs can go f itself, and needs to be fixed. Menechino's past before the White Sox saw the same garbage, even if the results were not this glaringly bad.

I get that maybe Menechino has worked with some guys like TA. But man, they need to fix Robert, Eloy, Moncada. Robert is doing fine all in all, but he can be doing so much more in the power department.

Well I say now, but I don't know that you can find a suitable replacement mid-season. This has reached a point on insanity.

And I don't mean to act like that is the only problem. A better approach to the bullpen needs to be made. They've poured tons of dollars in to the bullpen only to get mediocre to bad results.

And finally, even if the starting pitching staff is on, this staff is not World Series ready IMO. They need a bonified #1 - and one that can go more than 5 or 6 innings. As great as Cease has been, it doesn't do you a ton of good if you rely on the bullpen for 3-4 innings every damn start. Cease has only gone more than 6.0 innings twice this season, and never beyond 7 innings. I'm not criticizing him, because he's been damn good for us. But 6 innings of one hit ball, and then letting the bullpen blow the game in the later stages is how you lose in the playoffs (if you even get there).

Other than guilt/remorse, can any WS fan please give me a legit reason why Reinsdorf thought this dinosaur of a manager was the "best choice' for the Sox? I would not trust La Russa to be a WalMart greeter much less a manager of a team that had World Series aspirations.
