I was talking about championship level talent. That's why I said "They were good, but not good enough"
One tier below championship level at their best. They need outside help to put them over the top.

So now you're predicting the future, and that all of the young players on the team won't develop any more, despite most of them having less than 2 seasons worth of games in MLB.

Do you ever stop to think about how ridiculous you sound?

You weren't talking about championship level talent. if you were, you would have said that in your initial post. Now I'll wait for you to come back with "I figured everyone knew that's what I meant." which is your typical response when someone calls you out for a terrible opinion. You say stupid shit on the regular, without thinking it through first, then try to walk it all back, or change "what you meant to say." Either learn to own it, or stop saying dumb shit.

THIS... is DUMB SHIT. And it deserves every inch or ridicule that it gets. A team that is younger than 80% of the league... and this is the kind of nonsense you come up with on the regular.

I have no idea how anyone thought that the Sox ever had any chance whatsoever at winning a championship. They were and are clearly lacking in the talent department. At their best, they were good, but not good enough.

No, I was and always was talking about championship level talent. And yes, I did figure that everyone knew that I was talking about that the whole time. I suggest you go read the initial quote again, because "good but not good enough" was in there.

I do not trust ownership to get the talent necessary to put the team over the top, even if they perform to their 2021 level.

KBS - you stated in one post that Robert is disappointing, and called him a star a few posts later. You are all over the place here.

IMO, the Sox front office and ownership needs to do a better job supporting this core. It's as simple as that. The window isn't closed.

LuiscRobert...last 10GP =0 home runs and only 4 RBI.....remember when all the Sox pundits were claiming him anMVP candidate?

Moncada seems to have lost ability to hit a baseball ...complete futility...

Abreu abd Grandal career worst season tracks...Learn Garcia =joke .. Pollock 1 impact game all season Only to date=putrid trade.

Pitching ...Gioloto getting rocked too often ..Cease inconsistent...

Why was Vaughan rested last game vs.Dodgers?

La Losrr ball in evidence.

Yet Garfeon still thinks Sox win the zoo vision by 20 games....he is completely Loco and devoid of the realities...fact us Sox pitching and hitting scares nobody .

Think pitching help coming from Lance Lynn?

Last night he lasted only 3 innings givi g up 7 earned runs...E.R.A. now over 9 .0...ugh!!!!

Did I

Robert, like Moncada is good but disappointing so far. He's 24 so he still has time. I think he could develop into a star down the line, but he isn't right now. Same with Vaughn.

When I made the 2016 comment I was assuming further development.

They sacked up and dfa'd keuchel, why not admit their mistake and do the same for leury?

LMAO. Oh, look. It's just KBS posting completely unhinged... Again.

It's truly amazing.

This is a guy who, just a few days ago, called the 2005 White Sox win fake, undeserving, and completely forgettable.

LOL. Never saw that comment. Jesus...

It was one of the most dominant playoff runs in baseball history.

3-0 sweep of Boston(a team just one season removed from winning the World Series).
4-1 series win in the ALCS against the Angels(winning 4 straight after losing game 1).
4-0 sweep of the Astros in the World Series.

Fake.... undeserving, and completely forgettable alright. :biglaugh:

I knew you were going to post that.

Look at what he's done so far this season.
That has been disappointing.

.283/.318/.422 with a .139 ISO and a 115 wRC+
Above average, not a star.

Dude I texted you about it.

That's not what you said, or implied. This is another walk back after being called out for a terrible opinion, AGAIN.

Not reading them. Don't have time for your constant nonsense anymore. Too much to do, and too much stress in my life already to deal with YOUR stresses all the time.

I've tried to help you a million times over, and you continue to ignore anything and everything I say, and continue to do the same shit on here. I'm done, sorry.

Dude I texted you about it.

And here comes the walk back. "No, what I really meant was... this season!!"

I'm not doing this with you again. I'm not sure why anyone even entertains your nonsense anymore. You've fallen completely off the deep end. You're completely incapable of objectively evaluating anything sports related, and it's always worst case scenario. It's really f***ing sad.

You're a f***ing insufferable poster.

I hope you guys continue to read my posts and don't ignore me because I don't want this to ever happen again. I'm tired of this shit.

Would need to find an upgrade at 2B first which we dont have

Now if you want someone gone it may be time for Sox to bail on the Grandal mistake and eat the financial loss of that deal. See if anyone is willing to take him with Sox eating a bunch of what is left on his deal

Hes so bad that the amount if harm hes doing makes it impossible to justify keeping him in the lineup...unless you're TLR.
Oh, he's terrible and never should've been given the deal he was.

I'm just saying what the org has shown what they're willing to do. That said, Harrison is only owed the rest of this year's $4mm and a $1.5mm buyout, so there should be a willingness to cut bait there.

Yolbert would absolutely be an upgrade at this point.

Burger is awful at 3rd. Single handily going to lose this game off 2 big mistakes this inning.
I think he actually might be an above avetage fielder metric wise, just a bad inning. If yasmani wasnt by far the worst catcher in baseball, game would be tied.

And leury is literally the worst option tge sox have. Once tim is back they betyer dump the loser and have mendick be the utility guy.
