No, I was and always was talking about championship level talent. And yes, I did figure that everyone knew that I was talking about that the whole time. I suggest you go read the initial quote again, because "good but not good enough" was in there.

I do not trust ownership to get the talent necessary to put the team over the top, even if they perform to their 2021 level.

IMO, the Sox front office and ownership needs to do a better job supporting this core. It's as simple as that. The window isn't closed.

Robert, like Moncada is good but disappointing so far. He's 24 so he still has time. I think he could develop into a star down the line, but he isn't right now. Same with Vaughn.

When I made the 2016 comment I was assuming further development.

3-0 sweep of Boston(a team just one season removed from winning the World Series).
4-1 series win in the ALCS against the Angels(winning 4 straight after losing game 1).
4-0 sweep of the Astros in the World Series.

Would need to find an upgrade at 2B first which we dont have

Now if you want someone gone it may be time for Sox to bail on the Grandal mistake and eat the financial loss of that deal. See if anyone is willing to take him with Sox eating a bunch of what is left on his deal

I'm just saying what the org has shown what they're willing to do. That said, Harrison is only owed the rest of this year's $4mm and a $1.5mm buyout, so there should be a willingness to cut bait there.

I think he actually might be an above avetage fielder metric wise, just a bad inning. If yasmani wasnt by far the worst catcher in baseball, game would be tied.

And leury is literally the worst option tge sox have. Once tim is back they betyer dump the loser and have mendick be the utility guy.
