I was talking about championship level talent. That's why I said "They were good, but not good enough"
One tier below championship level at their best. They need outside help to put them over the top.
So now you're predicting the future, and that all of the young players on the team won't develop any more, despite most of them having less than 2 seasons worth of games in MLB.
Do you ever stop to think about how ridiculous you sound?
You weren't talking about championship level talent. if you were, you would have said that in your initial post. Now I'll wait for you to come back with "I figured everyone knew that's what I meant." which is your typical response when someone calls you out for a terrible opinion. You say stupid shit on the regular, without thinking it through first, then try to walk it all back, or change "what you meant to say." Either learn to own it, or stop saying dumb shit.
THIS... is DUMB SHIT. And it deserves every inch or ridicule that it gets. A team that is younger than 80% of the league... and this is the kind of nonsense you come up with on the regular.
I have no idea how anyone thought that the Sox ever had any chance whatsoever at winning a championship. They were and are clearly lacking in the talent department. At their best, they were good, but not good enough.
