If I saw my management sign Fisher to an extension I'd quit if playing on the team too. Is it possible in anyway one can think of to to show your players one just doesn't give 2 ***** and giving up? Literally most losses of any coach in NFL history. If ownership came out and blatantly said, "We don't care about this season and giving up" it wouldn't be as bad or insulting as it'd be just this season and no extension given to a coach that guarantees you will at best be perpetually in a black hole.
