So Rams got Pats/SEA/Falcons coming up. Can you say 4-10 ? If this doesn't get Fisher/Snead fired by seasons end, that would mean Stan simply doesn't care about winning.

Goff did have some good moments at least, but holy cow the Rams have another BUST #2 pick at Tackle in Robinson.

Two #2 picks at tackle in a decade, both busts, only the Rams can pull that off.

Three more losses, and Fisher will be the all time losing coach in the NFL(166 losses).

Supposedly Fisher already agreed to an extension in principle months ago.

I can't lie, part of me wants it to happen just because it would be hilarious.

As smart as extending Cloutier before he played a game in a Kings jersey. .... cuz you just know other teams are just beating down the door to sign Fisher.

gotta lock him up - and fast!

Rams COO hints that Fisher's job is safe
Though there has been no official word that Fisher, whose contract is expiring, has signed an extension, it certainly sounds like he isn't going anywhere.

"Everybody will want to judge Jeff through the prism of just the record, but that's totally unfair when you look at the set of circumstances he was handed this year," chief operating officer Kevin Demoff told me. "It was different than any team in the NFL.

"We moved halfway across the country, then had OTAs in Oxnard. Training camp was in Irvine, now we're in Thousand Oaks. We moved coaches and players and families. To provide leadership and consistency, he's done a model job."

Rams COO hints that Fisher's job is safe

I really enjoy seeing all the new Rams flags, hats, shirts and other swag around town since the season started.

But imagine how much more would be out there if they were a good team

Fisher's job should be the farthest thing from "safe" as humanly possible! It's not just that they're losing - they're not even competitive!

Ahh so I see Kevin Demoff is the problem, and needs to be fired a well.

Hopefully Stan cleans house.

Rams' Jeff Fisher gets extension; GM also extended
Despite staring at another losing record this season, Jeff Fisher isn't going anywhere.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday on GameDay Morning the Los Angeles Rams signed the head coach to a two-year extension through 2018.

Per Rapoport, the deal was agreed to in the preseason and was signed during the season.

In his first four seasons with the Rams, Fisher has guided the team to records of 7-8-1, 7-9, 6-10, and 7-9. The Rams currently sit at 4-7 with a difficult schedule down the stretch. Fisher hasn't led a team to a winning season since 2008 and has just six seasons in his 22-year coaching career with more than eight victories.
I don't understand the Rams unwavering support for this guy.

my prediction for today's game:

NE 38
LA 0*

* the only way the Rams score is if NE fumbles the ball / interception pick 6. The Rams will not score if they have to drive the ball down the field - even for a FG.

Like I said, Stan needs to clean house from top down.

Everyone needs to be fired.

There is no reason, what so ever for Snead/Fisher to get two more years.

I get the feeling they clean house once the new stadium is built. These are two year extensions. Stadium is expected to be done in 2018 I believe.

Since the merger, no NFL coach has ever had a losing record through his first four seasons and remained employed with the same team. Fisher will be the first (assuming he's back with LA next year).

This is on top of him inevitably setting the record for most career losses.
