NFL players are threatening a strike in a year to get guaranteed contracts. The owners are singing "Bring in the scabs!"

Guaranteed contracts are not a good idea. One issue I would definitely support the players on though is lifetime medical insurance. The owners can afford it.

That's one way to overcome a crappy bullpen......score nine runs.

But to their credit, the Mets have hammered just about every pitcher the Dodgers have thrown out there in this series.

Have to outscore a shitload of self inflicted problems.

The disparity between the starters and everything else is so stark, that's what makes it extra crazy

Kelly wasn't supposed to be a hot pile of garbage, but he is, and two months into the season, he's still a tire fire out there. Not sure how long it will take for him to find his game, but the Dodgers should be seeking other options.

Seems like that first World Series run really did a number on him. His velocity dropped precipitously following that.
 
If Kelly and Jansen put up even career average numbers, that would be a huge help. This Dodgers team is really talented. We are really spoiled.
 
Hoese and Busch were off the map the selections for an org known for selecting prep players in the early rounds, but it makes sense as Jimmy Lewis will be expensive, and they may save a little money signing the others.
