IMO, and unpopular I know, Nuggets should retire the #15 jersey twice.

English still better than Joker...but Joker on pace to be the best.

I think Joker is close or has passed Issel as best center

We did this without Will Barton, helps when you got 2 superstars on the team

Not an NBA fan, but congrats Nuggets! Very impressive! Anything that takes attention away from the obnoxious Broncos coverage in this town is good with me.

Nice one Nuggets. Also not an NBA follower but they seem like a like able group. And agreed anyway we can skip hearing about the NFL is a win.

Amazing. I'm certainly not a big basketball fan though I have always liked the Nuggets.

But these last few years
, since Jokic came over I have been more and more of a fan and watching Jamal and Joker doing what they are doing this playoff run has been awesome.

Tough Conference finals match up but man they must have so much confidence right now that they definitely have a real chance here.

I'd rate Horse more a power forward anyway.*

My all Nuggets team would be

Jokic

Issel- English

Thompson- Lever

*I used the PF word. No Size Queens, Issel would not help the Avs.

I love Gary Harris,

Also one step closer for MPJ to meet his hero if the Nuggets win it all :sarcasm: good night all.

Not really they're going to lose to the Lakers.

Plus next season is back to superteam dominance mode once Giannis goes to Golden State or the Lakers.

I hate that part of the NBA, a smart franchise like the Nuggets never get shot because super teams can be so easily made.

Yep. Either of those teams with Giannis are probably the best superteam of all time.

For the Lakers LeBron, AD, Giannis is probably above the Warriors teams, and for Warriors some combo of Curry + Giannis + Klay + at least one of Wiggins/Draymond/#2 overall pick is better than their previous teams. Superteams aren't stopping any time soon.

Like many have echoed in here. I'm not a big basketball guy, but it's great seeing the nuggets do well. I hope they win it all.

Now if only the Broncos and Rockies could fallow the Avs and Nuggets examples and get their shit together.

Jokić is a prime example why working on the fundamentals of the game is so important. He's not the most athletic, the most talented etc, but he worked on his shot, his footwork and his passing a lot. Growing up playing PG and waterpolo helped him a lot as well, in waterpolo you need to be able to pass the ball around with pin point accuracy, throw long passes, be constantly under pressure and have a really high sense of your surroundings.

As for the PG part, if a coach ever tells you or your kid not to handle the ball or to stand in the post because of height tell him to go to hell. Kids need to spend their formative years with a ball in their hand. When we played we had 5 guys capable of running the offense and all were willing ball handlers and passers.

Yeah depends on where you put Issel...I could see him in both.

I'd have the exact same starting 5 as you do.

What about Mutombo and Billups?

Both would be higher up if they actually played their entire careers with the Nuggets.....English is easily the best though and was with the Nuggets his entire career.
