Do they have an ETA when you may be back on the grid?

The devastation in Western NC, Eastern TN and other areas of the southwest is terrible. It will take weeks to get a handle on the potential death toll with some communities having no roads remaining to get to or from their location.

We have no eta but having been out walking and two short car rides has revealed slow progress northward toward my neighborhood.

Shoulda got one game in
Well shit, life has gotten straight up weird. My building owner has me doing renovations even tho I’m not the superintendent.

And then in the romance department, I’m hooking up with a new lady who has liked me for awhile, but it’s terrible timing. She has a bf, but not happy with the guy, but is scared of what might happen with us. Because I’m not someone that would kick the shit out of her, so it scares her.

Western SC, western NC, and eastern Tennessee got rocked. The Broad River is the basic divide line. East is relatively ok. West is a mess.

We’re without power but backup generator has the refrigerator powered, and water is not effected. We have a natural gas grill, and can pull in toasters and our air fryer.

With what I do, we were ready. Lots of gas and a generator. Lots were not prepared, and in some places it doesn’t matter anyway.

stay safe. sorry you and yours got hammered. reminds me of what we experienced in the Richmond area with Gaston back around 2004. relentless rain, and we lost power for more than 5 days.

Thanks. We’re good. Crisis management and emergencies are kind of my thing, so my family is over-prepared in some ways. I worry about folks around us outside of our neighborhood.

Update: power is back, we’re good

Ah, I get it.

Even if they can get passed THAT part of why he's not in the HOF....there is this gem

Incredible baseball player

Absolute trashcan of a human being.
There is probably a bunch of other stuff that Rose didn't want getting out and that was why he signed the deal for the lifetime ban.

People that take deals like that do so for a reason.
