This ****ing place is so much high school sometimes it's disgusting. I often forget how purely dim witted people can be and how ****ing awful some posters are.

It's hard to get mad at kids because I remember the kind of ****** know-it-all I could be at times when I was 18.

That said, yeah, there are some real stupid mother ****ers on HFBoards.

My calculus test was way easier than I thought it would be.

I couldn't get this one question and I knew the answer was most likely "0" just because the numerator was 0, but if the denominator was "0," then the answer would be undefined. Since I didn't know how to simplify the denominator, I wrote:

f(x) = {0 if the denominator =/= 0
{I have no idea if the denominator = 0

Hopefully I get partial credit because he should laugh.

It's almost unbearable for me to participate in hockey discussion when the team isn't doing well. Gets really bad around here.

...I hate all of you guys just as much, though, so I don't know why I post in this thread either. ;)

was it a limit question?

was it a limit question?

Yep. I got up to the step where I needed to divide the numerator and the denominator by x raised to the highest exponent in the denominator, which would be x^2, but since the denominator had a radical sign, I didn't know how to get the x^2 in there.

I was able to do it for the numerator, so that's how I got the 0. With my luck as a Ranger fan, the denominator is probably equal to 0 and I'll be wrong.

Damn 18 year olds. ::shakes fist:: But yeah i never really thought I knew it all except when it came to my parents.

From my experience (At least here) parents try to shelter their kids and make them too dependent, and try to force them to think "mommy knows best", and that. Pretty much after I chose my major, it wasn't pharmacy so my mother's been terribly angry at me, andwriting me off as a drop out bum.

radical x is the same as x to the 1/2 power... if it's x^(1/2) divided by x^2, you have x^(-3/2).

I'm 19 and Iron Maiden is my favorite band. Bruce is probably my favorite vocalist too. I'm a guy, just to clarify.
