I think I liked him because he looked like a Conan the Barbarian, He-Man types. I was really into those kind of heroes for lack of a better word then. I was also a fan of Maiden as much as I could've been.

From my experience (At least here) parents try to shelter their kids and make them too dependent, and try to force them to think "mommy knows best", and that. Pretty much after I chose my major, it wasn't pharmacy so my mother's been terribly angry at me, andwriting me off as a drop out bum.

Been there. haha I was pretty sheltered i guess. Went to a private school and all that, only thing is, my school never had parties or really dealt with any crazy issues (kids ODing and dying, or sex, or anything) Pretty sheltered school. My best friend from junior year moved and started going to a public school where he started going to all these parties and invited me out to one and i was in awe. I only saw parties like that in the movies. Needless to say, i was hanging with public school kids, introduced to things like sex (and how) and eventually ended up throwing a party when my parents went away that was host to 300+ kids all crammed inside my house (every room) and spilled out onto the front and back lawns, street, neighbors yards etc.. was a righteous party indeed. But my parents weren't very impressed with my party throwing skills. Neighbors left answering machine messages and notes, and I miscalculated their return and they came home to a ****ing mess. I mean. A. Mess. My mom is very clean and twas a pretty big house so I got an ass whoopin of a lifetime. Moral of the story is private schools are overrated.

When I was around 7 years old I had a crush on Bruce Dickinson( I'm a girl). Ugh, I'm dating myself.
This is not the answer to a Calculus question. :sarcasm:

radical x is the same as x to the 1/2 power... if it's x^(1/2) divided by x^2, you have x^(-3/2).
But this one is.

This also seems correct to me. The hardest part about Calc I, in my opinion at least, was keeping all of the basic concepts in mind while doing multiple step problems.

Ugh Calc, I hated that **** last year, so I just took College Algebra this semester, where I recently learned how to draw a line, y= mx+b for the win.

That's really unfortunate. I know much of parenting is based off personal opinion, but I can't think of any possible reason as to why those sort of actions can be considered right. It's part of your job as a parent to support your child's decision, especially when it comes to a future career.

I give you credit to sticking with whatever major you wanted. It's tough to go against values and mindsets that parents instill in you at a young age, even if you know that they are fundamentally flawed.

SLOWLY???!!!1!

jk, thanks Bob. Since, keeping each other posted, you've lost some marks because I'm now less attracted (but still attracted) to your avatar.

Are you insinuating that the petite smirking red head is more attractive than the deranged Nazi war criminal? For shame.

Im so behind on the AC series, I was really into it, and played through everything until revelations, and then got a job, and couldn't play games anymore :/

Though I just found my gameboy, and my sweet Pokemon blue save file.
