I can't get over how old we think the universe is. I get bored waiting at the DMV which by comparison doesn't even register lirl.

After Godzilla and Pacific Rim we should just leave the ocean alone.

The ocean is amazing and still so much unknown about it. I'm excited when we develop materials and vessels that can withstand the insane pressure when you get further down.

If I wasn't studying neuroscience, I'd seriously consider getting a PhD in something marine life based.

There are plenty of things on Earth which haven't been explored and there are scientists exploring them. I am much more interested in what's out there (points dramatically at the sky)

It's fun to fantasize about aliens but there's monkeys and whales and **** right hurrr

Every new discovery, no matters how seemingly insignificant, informs us of where we come from. i.e. Evolution

Oh for sure. If there is nothing else out there, and this is it in terms of life forms in the entire known and unknown vastness of the cosmos and beyond...then color me dumbfounded, because we are mindbogglingly nonsensical as a race.

I just can't see us being the only life forms out there. I don't think it's possible that there is no other planet out there that had similar conditions to early earth necessary to start forming rudimentary molecules necessary for life.

Hell, perhaps there are other conditions that could support a completely different form of life.

There's so many planets out there, just mathematically there has to be something else.

We're not the only lifeforms, there's trillions and trillions of other life forms right hurrrr

If some aliens were like "Yo! This how it be." Would that be proof? What makes some alien's answer to life more valid than a Buddhist monk or something.

I don't mean "we are aliens" like f'ing Mulder and Scully. The elements that compose our bodies come from exploding stars.

I enjoy listening to Richard Dawkins, although I disagree with a lot of what he says.

Brian Greene
Michio Kaku
Neil deGrasse Tyson

Three favorites. I can listen to them for days straight. Especially Brian Greene.
