Islands in the stream.
No idea. I'm playing the medical system run around right now trying to get into the f***ing ENT Dr. to get rid of this SOB.
I remember all the times you've talked about having the stones. Sorry to hear it.

My dad used to get these suckers and somehow I Don't. I'm thankful.

But I'd looked it up and one of the major differences between how dad ate and I eat is that he would have a big thick steak on a plate and a few veggies as decoration. He was a red meat lover. The more the better. I love veggies, more sides on the plate the better and I stick to a pretty normal sized meat portion whatever it is. They say that too much meat in your diet or protein in your diet can contribute to the Stones.

Not sure if you've been able to try anything like limiting the protein. For me its easy enough because my body seems to break down energy from fruits veggies nuts etc well. It fuels me pretty good.

A lot of people need a lot of meat in their diet to feel fueled up. My metabolism is easy. I can go on a backcountry hike with a bag of Gluten free trail mix and I'm good for a few days. I don't need anything else except water. That helped me out in hiking. Other people would be carting around stoves and pots and plates and I just got trail mix. I hit the trail for hours and they're still back making their meal and cleaning up. By the time they hit the next backcountry campsite I'm already set up. I would bring Hot Chocolate mix along and one metal cup. Guilty pleasure.

I guess it's not bad enough that I am a kidney stone factory, now I have a calcified stone blocking my saliva duct and causing an infection. @Stoneman89 I think that it's time that I take your handle as the true Stoneman of HFOil!
Wow, sorry to hear, hope you get it resolved. Those aren't the kind of stones I would wish on anyone!

Take care of you and your family brother. Freeze some water bottles and place them in your fridge so that they can keep your refrigerator cold longer in the likely event that there are power outages. Eat whatever you can that will expire shortly and make sure that you have your can opener handy for canned goods.

I’ve been thru these many times. I have a 6000 W generator, pellet stove, lots of food, batteries all charging and most importantly, lots of beer. This one sounds like it’s gonna be very mean. Meaner then Juan. We had two Juan’s that year. Hurricane in the fall of 03 that took out Halifax for 9 weeks and White Juan that did it again in February that absolutely buried Halifax. That was worse

Oilers in NS playing chess, everyone else playing checkers.

Seriously though, I wish you all the best to you and everyone out there. Hopefully some invisible forcefield activates and sends Fiona back out to sea before she causes too much damage and destruction.

Truro could be a bad flood zone. I was at substation years ago in Onslow and we got stuck there because of the flooding. Highest tides in the world coming in at ya on that river ain’t good. They built lots of dykes over the years to fix that. U guys are flat like Saskatchewan in Truro. We r in the highlands in my area

Pictou County is closer to God, hence the difference in elevation versus colchester

I’m right on that red line in the center, but whats the worst thing that could happen? Last hurricane they didnt bother to reconnect the power for like 11 days. IMO if they cant get everyone back online in 7 days they should call in the army. I will probably miss the whole preseason if it lands as expected. See ya for game 1 !

Well Alberta would love to do it. No question about that but federal obfuscation. Take care all.

The bolded is surprising to me. I look at Atlantic Canada as a food bread basket everything from fishing to farming. The last area I would expect to run out of food. A school friend lives out there and bought a small farm. He's self sufficient and the small farm pays all his expenses just with the produce he sells. He bought a farm there with little overhead and his costs are minimal. Something you couldn't do here in Alberta with more expensive land. Compared to Alberta Atlantic Canada has a decent growing climate. How is their food shortages? Surely there should be lots of fresh veggies and produce being harvested. Anyway. again stay safe.

People are just freaking and buying everything up. Typical in these situations. Look what happened to toilet paper and Covid

Never mind all that - How's the toilet paper situation?

Yes, lots of very religious people around here on meth and dirty blow in Pictou County. Place is invested with Meth. Fella fell outta a 3rd story window here yesterday to the ground on Meth Lane. In New Glasgow. Wish it was on his head

Lol what on earth does this got to do with what I said? You're acting like I hate the player. I've said this all Summer. I like the player but he needs to be more consistent to be in the top six just like Yamamoto. I have Yamamoto above him because he penalty kills and he was okay to decent in the Playoffs.
It's just that for you being Yamamoto's fan somehow seems to mean Puljujarvi is a threat. It shows in even hundreds of negative posts about Puljujarvi in pretty much every imaginable field. I'm sorry it's just hard for me to understand this as I as Pulju's supporter see Yamamoto as part of the team and thus support him too. But go on, I'll step back again.
