Looks like it. Here's the label and the mushroom.

I have a beautiful red Amanita Muscaria Label on my record, same picture as in the video, and which is well used and not in pristine condition. I remember the Album came from "Mushroom records" now this is one for the olders but didn't Max Webster release an album on this label or have something to do with it? i remember some other eclectic artists getting some time on that label

Moved to the US a couple of years ago, and really miss Edmonton. However, one of the positives about being down here is that I'm right close to a couple of major amusement parks. Going to the park to ride the coasters has become a terrific way to unwind, let loose, and just have fun.

So, for some OT grins and giggles, here are some pictures from yesterday (Busch Gardens Williamsburg). Hope this brings some warmth to the frozen north!

I don't see Anamita as one of their record labels. It was Taurus for the first and Anthem afterwards.

Do they go door to door now? ;)

As much as I was bitching I prefer online software which in I can complete the tax returns and even sign up for extras. My return is complicated, and I was surprised that nothing was missed in the autofill. Everything was there, perfect. Would have taken me 5-10mins of sitting down to do my return. My wifes return on the other hand....maybe I should send her to H&R block. ;)

H&R offers free online tax prep or you can talk to a preparer and e-mail them the info. Or go in person. It sounds like it's worth the price to find out what's going on and have it done right.

What are you trying to infer with this? heh jk

jk aside I had something like 25 info slips this year. Trust me when I say the method we're using is the simplest available. We had an accountant once who did our returns and I just found it more work than just doing it myself.

One thing I can't stand about a Home Care nurse and the section head is that I keep feeling like I have to apologize for being ill. I had a couple of long bouts of acidosis that really wore me down. Add that my body is taking a lot of energy to try to repair itself, coupled with the beatdown from the acidosis to my legs, and I'm having a hard time trying to get around. But they keep thinking that I'm either able to move and do stuff or move into an assisted living place, which would eat up a good part of my AISH and CPP disability, I have creditors I still owe to and I hope to get as much paid by 65, as I'm not sure what I'll get at 65. Plus, I'm not willing to give up.

Sadly this is pretty commonplace from what I've seen. Some nurse's are outstanding, while others are just there for a paycheck and are absolutely rotten people. No different from any occupation, just that in their case people are often times at their lowest and some compassion would go a long ways towards making that persons day a little better while times are tough.

Just a comment but do you have any access to a social worker or one on one adjudicate or support that you can talk to, or an ombudsman that is an extended part of the care team? Sounds like your wishes are not being listened to, not being heard.

The medical system can be guilty of treating humans as conditions and losing the picture on people. I probably don't have to say more.

This part is disconnected, and its in the OT thread so not OT. but my heart goes out to the many people that were pulled from their homes, families, that were not offered option of remaining home, or palliative care in home, or just seeing out their condition at home. Many of those people died, and many died in ICU, alone, without any goodbye, without any loved ones faces, just dying in the company of strangers.

As a human in love with my wife, and vice versa, our biggest fear as a couple is that we would contract covid and die alone. Like occurred to so many other people. This, to us, would have been a crime of sorts, a worst ending than the disease itself. We can both handle dying, we both accept we will, we prefer to be in each others arms if possible the moment it occurs. So many couples were robbed of this basic dignity during the pandemic. A crime against lifelong relationships. Was just moved by the experiences of others that we know personally, or heard about, to state this.

Does anyone know of any luxury car rental services in the Edmonton area? I'm looking at Turo but wondering if anyone might know anything else
