OT: OT: Lets Go Cardinals! (All Baseball Talk Here) Part 2

Flaherty’s pitching so scared right now. Just no confidence.

EDIT: Shows how good his stuff is that he’s issued 13 walks in his first two outings and only two runs total, but he throws so many pitches that are not even competitive that no professional hitter would even consider swinging at. I still have some hope he can put it together again, but it’s frustrating to watch. At least he’s stayed healthy for two consecutive starts. Baby steps.

Cards giving out a Daniel Descalso bobble head? The f***? He was an absolutely dreadful player. Somehow some people thought he was like Brendan Donovan, but really he was a guy that they put at a bunch of different positions, was terrible at all of them, and couldn’t hit worth anything.

It's quite a list of players getting theme night bobbleheads this season

What?! I had to Google Mark Whiten and find he only played in St. Louis for 2 rather unremarkable years. Was he a fan favorite or something? And BRENDAN RYAN?!?! Who comes up with this? I look forward to Tyler Greene’s statue unveiling next summer.
Hard hittin’ Mark Whitten holds Cardinal record for 4 home runs in one game

not a very good club so far, marmol is in over his head also.

awful situational and RISP hitting

little league starting pitching

headcase/inconsistent bullpen

A lefty to break up Goldy-Arenado-Contreras would be really nice. Hopefully Gorman becomes that guy.

team is becoming the 2022 blues and fast.

unwatchable and unlikeable.

how many runs has Burleson cost the Cards already in left field?

Marmol put a slow, fat 1B/DH who cannot judge a fly ball as well as a average 12 year old little leaguer, in the largest outfield in baseball

At the rate that our pitchers have been giving up hits and walks, it doesn't really matter IMO. Now, some of those hits could be inflated due to his defense, but while the pitching is shit, I don't really care about any individual defensively. The only chance we have at winning is offense.
