Go Cards. Excited for the season. Almost positive we’re going to have to trade for a starter or two at the deadline again. Clearly the team’s biggest weakness. Have plenty of assets to get it done though and nobody is going to run away with the Central so the birds should still be in contention by then.
 
Yep, SP could use a boost, but should be good enough for most of the season. Lineup has some big time potential if Walker/Gorman/Noot perform well, or if O'Neill/Carlson bounce back.

Not saying you're wrong, but I would really like to try and break up the right handed brigade that seems to always end up in the middle of our order. Just not sure how to do that, honestly. All our LH bats are guys you don't really want in the middle besides Gorman and I don't think he's really ready for that responsibility.

I love Yadi, but it’s nice to not have a black hole offensively behind the plate too. So many options in the outfield, some combination has to pan out. I think it will ultimately be Walker-Carlson-Noot. I don’t have much faith in O’Neill. Hopefully I’m dead wrong.

dont worry, wainwright will save the rotation. not like he had dead arm in september and then got hurt in a stupid preseason tourney.
 
Both teams starting pitchers were not good tonight. Pretty upset with the ERs and ERA for Mikolas, but, I'm pretty happy with his strikeouts. 6 SOs in 3.1 innings is a decent.
 
Offense is going to have to be top 5 in the Majors to make any sort of noise. This staff, too to bottom, is abysmal. Elite defense can only do so much.
 
What time does the Blues game start? At least when they pathetically throw away leads it’s a bit entertaining.

EDIT:Nice of Wilson to throw the game away before hobbling off to the showers.
 
Feel bad for Arenado. Turned down a nine figure deal just to be stuck on a team that runs clowns like Mikolas and Verhagen to the mound on Opening Day.
