Contreras is the most important player on the roster in terms of staying healthy. Even if Goldschmidt or Arenado go down, the guys we can slot in there are at least capable of playing at not just replacement level, but closer to league average. Knizner aspires to be replacement level. That was one of the most frustrating games I've ever watched.
16 of the 19 hits for the bj's were singles, most of those were so poorly hit they didn't carry for an out and the winning run was a sac fly.
Hopefully Contreras is okay, so far all tests have come back negative. Kniz's sac bunt pop out and dropped foul tip were brutal.
They have the best infield in baseball. The outfield is one of the worst however, too inconsistent.Donovan is a good 2B. Our infield is solid.
I disagree with them being one of the worst. They are average/slightly above average. And I want to see how Walker progresses through the year. They have the best infield in baseball. The outfield is one of the worst however, too inconsistent.
Really enjoy Chip as new Cards voice also. Thrilled Danny is gone, never deserved the job anyways.
Dude is good. And he has his first stealWalker has two hits today and they were both hit directly at a fielder but they were hit so hard that they couldn’t handle it. Everything he hits is a missile.

I'd trade O'Neill over him if Carlson can hit even .260. Tyler is way too inconsistent and a K machine. Both provide strong defense.Carlson is going to get traded I think. Nootbaar gets hurt and them passing up Carlson straight to Burleson is pretty telling.
Carlson is deep in the Dog House right now. And O'Neill is basically acting like a posable action figure for team. I could see a reason for either of them being moved. But I think the club is still sour about Carlson hiding his injury for so long last year.I'd trade O'Neill over him if Carlson can hit even .260. Tyler is way too inconsistent and a K machine. another reason to take carlson is he is a switch hitter and this team needs more pop from LHBCarlson is deep in the Dog House right now. Carlson's stats as a LH are not good. And O'Neill's numbers as a Righty vs Righty are better than Carlson's vs Righty. Carlson is a poor Switch hitter, he should switch to full time RH.another reason to take carlson is he is a switch hitter and this team needs more pop from LHB
