Double last AB. Triple away from the cycle. It’s just Spring Training but it’s better than having him struggle.
Really wish Waino was playing better. But so far I have no issues with how anyone is playing. But, as you said. It's just Spring Training.

Think he makes the team out of spring training?
I myself would probably say no. I want him to get more playing time in the OF and we are pretty set with TON, DC, Noot, Burleson, and Yepez. But, I wouldn't hate if he made the opening day roster.

Agree about the playing time. In all my years, I've never been this excited for a Cardinals hitting prospect as I am Walker.

And a freak athletically. I'm sure TON is feeling the pressure.
I think DC, TON, and Noot should feel pressure. I love Noot but he had to show he can do what he did at the end of last year consistently, DC and TON need to show they can stay healthy. I would not be surprised if DC ends up being the odd man out and traded for a pitching ace.

Cardinals giving them all time in CF to increase trade value. I would not be surprised at all if 1 or 2 were packaged for that elusive ace. Can Gorman play outfield?

I don't want to see Gorman playing defense. Soooooooo..... especially with the Shift banned.

Yepez and Burleson are plenty good enough to play the corners.

Walker is 2 for 3 today with another RBI. He's 100% making the team, and if he breaks out immediately, we are going to be a dangerous team.

The potential on the Cardinals is incredible. I love the talent and youth the line-up has. The rotation is most definitely a weakness, but with as many assets the Cards have, I'm not worried. Trading for a pitcher should be fairly doable.

This is one dangerous looking team and has the chance to become even more so.

This is the deepest set of position players they've ever had. Even if god forbid Arenado or Goldschmidt go down to injury, we're not going to miss a beat winning this division.

The way it's looking right now we're going to be forced to trade valuable assets because no one is really failing and we can't fit guys who should be getting regular playing time in the MLB right now into our lineup because it's so full.

The rotation could easily end up better than expected, Flaherty and Matz sure looked good the other day. But it's obviously something they'll look to improve at the deadline.

Nootbar is sure doing a good job buttering up Ohtani for the deadline acquisition and long term contract... xD

I don't see that. A lot of the players are highly questionable on what they are going to produce. The outfield has potential, but who knows what they actually produce on the field this year. There is no shot that all those guys perform well like you are thinking.

O'Neill is having terrible spring so far.
