Meanwhile Kyler Murray declared for the NFL draft after winning the Heisman and being drafted by the A's in the 1st round and signing for $4.6 million. Will be interesting to see what happens with him. Personlly I don't think he'll be successful in the NFL.

How does that even work with the A's contract? Does he have to pay back the bonus?

I think there is often too big of a focus on size for QBs, but Murray is really small. Guys who scramble to extend plays get hurt a lot, guys who run a lot get killed. Big Ben and Rodgers are big dudes, and they've had their fair share of injuries running around extending plays. If Murray is running downfield all day, I don't think hes big enough to take the hits.

Maybe he'll be this year's version of Baker Mayfield. If he's drafted in the 1st round he'll get a larger guarantee and presumably mail the check back to Beane. If he's not drafted in the 1st I don't know if anyone will use a draft pick on him if they're not sure he'll sign. He only has to repay the bonus if he signs an NFL deal.

The Knicks are way more pathetic than the Jets come on
The jets finished in last the past 3 seasons and haven’t been to the playoffs in 8 years. The knicks won their division more recently but I’m talking overall. The knicks have at least been in 5 nba championships since the jets were in their last super bowl.

There's something about Luck that despite his amazing year this year I can't help thinking that he hasn't lived up to his potential to this point.

Boy I guess most of us were wrong including myself thinking the Chargers would put up a better fight than the Ravens today. Also, James White is seriously underrated. He is just on of the steadiest/consistent backs there are especially in playoff games.

Probably way too late here but Gase is a phenomenal hire IMO.

I think he will make the 21 year old Darnold great.

Now Mac needs to surround him with actual NFL talent
