Oster trade?

Oster hurt?
The Gens would never trade Oster lol. MCL injury. Told it's "minor. Day to day. If it was a playoff game he'd be playing, but there's no reason to push it right now"

For anyone who bets OHL, the over 7.5 is +115 tonight. London very well might get it on their own.

LDN -2.5 is also +155, which seems like another good bet tonight. Their lineup is insane and Gravelle hasn't had a good start yet

Barlow has 12 goals in 14 games against London the last 2 seasons, so statistically it appears that is inaccurate that they have a history of taking him out of the game
7 of those 14 games he has 0 Goals, 0 Assists, 0 points and is a combined -11. So yes he has a few multi goal games whoopity do.

Of those Games only played in London (7) he has 4 Goals, 0 assists and is a combined - 8. One of those games was a hat trick. So if we take that away that is 6 games in London over the last two years, with 1 total goal and a combined Negative 7.

So more often than not he has been shut out of games being played in London.

Well... yeah

Big hit by Sandhu. Didn’t know he had this in him. Too bad he injured himself on the play too. Hopefully not out too long. He’s been having an impressive season so far.

Every 3 or 4 games Sandhu does something where you're like holy shit, if he did that all the time he could be one of the better D-men in the league.

Danford hit on Montgomery was just as big too.

Hard to throw 2 open ice hits as big as Sandhu and Danford's were tonight and have them be clean but they both did

Just saw the Danford one. Good to see them wake up after those 2 massive hits. Kudos to Montgomery for hopping back up too. That’s a tough kid

Knights are looking fatigued and you guys are taking advantage. Good for you guys. If we lose so be it, two good teams going at it. Just too bad Cowan is out. Changed the momentum of the game.

Turns out playing physical (and clean) can win you hockey games, even in 2024!

Way to face adversity head on boys. Rough 1st period but too big open ice hits changed the narrative and Oshawa shakes the demons from last years playoffs.
2 game win streak against London now.....

He does all of his damage at home, he has been shutdown 6 of 7 games in London. So statistically speaking London shuts him down in London with last change.

If that’s what you need to resort to make the 2024 OHL Final sweep sting less then go for it. Being outscored 31-9 to an OHL Final was embarrassing. Even if you had Sennecke, he wouldn’t have saved that.

Anyways to all the rest of the Gennie fans, good game, well played, great hits and hopefully we’ll see another great matchup in March!

Congrats you have the balls to talk after the game haha. Shows how much faith you had before hand. You were awfully quiet all day hmmm..

Man tonight really hurt you guys eh. Lot of random London fans really in their feelings on here! Take a deep breath fellas, you still have by far the best team in the CHL. No way they don’t win the Mem Cup this year:nod:

The way he just hopped right back up was wild. Didn’t even miss a shift. Tough ass kid

Thoughts from Gens @ London:

-Well..... I did not see that coming. I said it on here but was going to hammer LDN -2.5 until they announced Gravelle was starting with Oster out and a bunch of people must've bet that because the line completely swung even more so you couldn't have made money betting LDN. So instead just went BAR moneyline and OSH/LDN over 7.5. Hockey gods saved me from that bet!

-The stats continue to not really back it up but Gravelle was very solid tonight. Obviously nobody needs to be told how lethal the LDN offence is and he stood tall several times and made he big save when it needed to be made.

-For those wondering, it's an MCL sprain for Oster and he wanted to play tonight but they held him out as a precaution. If it was a playoff game, he would've played. Was told he's a gametime decision tomorrow night. If he's 100% he'll go, if he's 95%, he will not. Personally I would go right back to Gravelle and give Oster a full week off and he can go next Thurs @ PBO

-Barlow has definitely turned a corner. Another multi point game and really should've gotten an assist on the Sennecke highlight reel goal because it was all set up by him backchecking and crushing Halttunen on the boards. 18 points in his last 16 games now with 12 goals, which means he's now on pace for 34 goals this season.

-Obviously the Sandhu and Danford hits completely changed the game and LDN didn't seem to have an answer for that, but the physical play started in the 1st period with Harrison Franssen throwing 2 big hits on Easton Cowan and Kasper Halttunen. The 4th line had a good game tonight and that's obviously huge going against a team as deep as LDN is.

-Does this win now make the Gens the best team in the league? No, I still think London is quite a bit better than everyone else in the league but at this point I think the Gens and Barrie are two of the only teams who could actually give them a series.

Sandhu has been laying guys out all season lol but yeah hopefully he’s alright, same with Cowan. Both guys looked concussed after this. Clean hit but bashed heads off each other.

The Gens actually having a 4th line that gets a regular shift will pay dividends in the playoffs this year. Laxdal gassed the team because he did not trust his 4th and sometimes half his 3rd lol. Not knocking Lax as he’s a good coach who got the most out of his team but I love that all lines are counted on now. Interesting to see what this team looks like post deadline. I love nothing more than to hear some excuses in the finals 😉

Clean hit, refs got it right, Just like Lawrence hit last season on Motew of Kitchener, Cowan had his head down long before the hit

This should only get better as the gens add at the deadline too and 3rd line guys get pushed down to L4

Maybe Dave Cameron is taking “Bennett “ Senneke to camp? Man I hope he’s not confused over the two Simon Wangs.
I think everyone is confused about the 2 Simon Wang's, The Athletic had an article on the Gens Simon Wang and they had a picture of the other Simon Wang in it
