You have a hell of a team! Congratulations on the win
Saw on the LDN thread you took exception to the joke I made on my Twitter account. Just so you know, I only made the joke because multiple London fans tweeted at me saying Cowan was fine and they just kept him out the rest of the game as a precaution. If he was actually hurt I wouldn’t have responded to the London troll tweet with that.

But back to hockey, if the playoffs started tomorrow is Medvedev or Elliott London’s starter? Or would they go get one?

The Gens actually having a 4th line that gets a regular shift will pay dividends in the playoffs this year. Laxdal gassed the team because he did not trust his 4th and sometimes half his 3rd lol. Not knocking Lax as he’s a good coach who got the most out of his team but I love that all lines are counted on now. Interesting to see what this team looks like post deadline. I love nothing more than to hear some excuses in the finals 😉
Agreed. I’ve been hard on O’Rourke at times but I’ve come around on him and I think they have an all around excellent staff. The addition of Brad Malone and Patrick Sexton have been very good imo. Youthful and fresh. That third goal last night by Graham was nice to see. What a pass by Griffin. Rogowski had another solid game and Toms had another solid game. Some awesome shifts in the third period pinning London in their own zone. When this team plays as a 5 man unit and sticks to their systems, D playing tight on the other teams forwards in the NZ and not giving up the blue line easily, they’re elite.

Soo is targeting Hopkins 100%

I could see them being willing to pay to get their guy as well.
If they do that, kingston fans should riot imo.

Oster out again tonight. Smart decision

Sandhu also out tonight. Concussion testing? I haven’t heard that but from the contact assume that’s what it’d be

No question, it will be Elliott unless he is hurt. Medvedev is their future goalie, and he will likely be featured in every other game until the playoffs commence to provide him with valuable experience. Elliott will be in net during the playoffs. He has experience in playoffs, having played in the WHL finals last year. He's 11and 0 in the OHL so far.

You may want to look at his playoff record and how many playoff games he played last year. His playoff record is 4-7. He played jsut over 120 minutes last year in the playoffs. He did a great job opening the bench door last year in the playoffs. The year before he played quite a few games but didn’t play them very well. Considering he played for a team in both seasons that accumulated over 100 points, those numbers and playoff performances were kinda brutal.

I think you are right that Elliott will START those playoffs but I am not sure he will still be starting for long. If history repeats itself, he’ll be out of the net somewhere around half way through the 2nd round.

For a possible championship team that everyone says this is the year if they wanna advance forward.. that's real shitty way to look at things.. ya need to aim way higher then that dude if you wanna be a winner

Ok then they can only win a championship if they go 68 and 0. Great logic. They came off an emotional victory with their number one goalie on the shelf and a top 4 D out of the lineup. Sometimes there’s let down after an emotional victory. It’s junior hockey and all hockey for that matter. Anyways no point going on here as it’s obvious.

Not saying your logic isn't rite just saying we need to have higher standards this year and having a "I expect to win every game attitude is the way we should think.. I can tell you the London knights dont have the "we will be happy with a split attitude. At what point should we not expect more is all I'm saying..

Does Brad Malone have any coaching experience? He did play with Ty Tuilio. Very odd to come right now. O’Rourke pissed someone off I guess.

Ritchie has an off night on Friday (a minus-1 and three penalties that are out of character for him). They they get dummied yesterday (albeit with a backup in). But they’re still in first place. And they come home and the coach gets canned 30 games into his first season. Something seems off for sure.

Expectations were they would run away with it this year bas3d on last years finals appearance and returning players. To date that is not the reality.

Probably more so that the team has been giving up too many goals against lately. Two bad games recently, first against brantford and now Saginaw. Some big wins in there but gave up 4 goals against Ottawa in the 8-4 win. They are amazing and very difficult to beat when they play to their structure, and have gotten away from it too often, but can win games on skill alone. Brad Malone was a character guy in the pro’s and is a bright hockey mind, I don’t see why he couldn’t be a great coach right away, he has the tools. Hope the team can weather the storm while Ritchie/Sennecke are away, should be a good opportunity for others to show their stuff.
