So baring any type of deal, scrivens should be the nhl backup. Rynaas takes the reigns for the Marlies.
 
Yeah, you just waive lombi if you don't want him. no reason to buy him out.

Why would it be silly if it doesn't cost MLSE anything but their own money? The agreement gives you two with NO consequence, so what's the downside again? Ranger is a given in the lineup.

He's 18. You don't buyout Liles who has a very fair salary in relation to his point production, unless you're worried about his health. Judging by the amount of skating he's been doing during the offseason, he appears ready to go.

Just checked, contract buyouts wouldn't start til next year. So we're stuck with any of the players we do have for now.
 
No way Kadri does not start, If Kadri does not start they should trade him or he walks next year.

Liles is a respectable defenseman. After he was injured, our breakout suffered dearly.

He's a pretty bad defender in my opinion, based on what he showed us last year.

And he is recoverring from a concussion.

there's a few leafs I think are good. Only so many you can really choose from when you have a team as bad as this but I do have my favorites.
