Why would Erne be 4th line when he outproduced Namestnikov by a lot? Namestnikov can go on waivers as he is pretty useless. He brings almost no discernible difference to the lineup than any other scrub out there.

Aren't we at 25 right now? 15 forwards including Vrana & Raymond, 8 defenseman including Seider and 2 goalies.

Seider and Raymond aren't on CapFriendly.

Doesn't matter, because Rowney is the 13th Forward and Lidstrom is the 8th Defenseman.

I am pleasantly very surprised that Raymond is going to make the opening night roster. He seemed to fizzle more and more with each preseason game. Hope he can hang on.

Reading some Blashill quotes, it sounds like they kinda expect everyone (except Vrana, obv) to be ready to go opening night. Guess we'll find out what's what in the next couple hours.

The idea of punting Stecher and getting Veleno in the top-9 is intriguing. But I doubt it will happen. Stecher moving down the depth chart isn't the same as Detroit wanting him out of the organization altogether, and I doubt he's fallen that far.

I didn't mean that's what you were suggesting, I was mostly just reasoning things out aloud haha. It's true though that I'm bearish on Stecher and bullish on Lindstrom, so I like that depth chart flip-flop.
