Driver and Gomez too.

Rupp I still have a bit of animosity after the 2012 shove.
Driver was Lou's fault. He wasn't asking for anything more than what they were offering.... he just wanted a No Trade clause because he wanted to stay in the area...the Rangers gave him that opportunity Lou wouldn't. I never was upset with Driver. Not even a little bit.... Maclean way more than Driver even though he went out west first.

I don't like Rupp. He talks about NJ as a second class citizen to NY all the time... he's a moron anyway. It's almost like he doesn't count his time in NJ.

Gomez and Holik pissed me off....Holik more than anyone upset me at the time. But in both of those cases the writing was on the wall before it happened. Holik was angry over arbitration and
Gomez and his Dad were delusional
thinking Scott was superstar.

I was pissed they went to the Rangers but we kept winning so I never really built up hatred for them. I found their failures while we kept winning funny.... Parise came along and made us forget Gomez pretty quickly and Madden replaced Holik almost seamlessly...so I never spent much time hating them...

Niedermayer crushed us. I honestly believe we could've won another Cup after the lockout with Niedermayer. With Niedermayer we would have never seen the Mogilny, Malakhov and McGillis debacle..and we would have had a really strong defense for years. Screw that guy

Add the Washington Washups 0-4-1 in their last 5 after looking like they would be able to slide right on in quite comfortably.

And they still can still slide right in because of how much of a disaster everybody else is right now.

I've been sounding the alarm all season long that Detroit is no-count and a mirage, same with the Capitals. And that the Flyers were overperforming relative to what their roster looked like.

All 3 have come crashing down lately, but several of those teams will still make the playoffs. And we won't. That's beyond sad. It's a f***in joke.

Seattle passed us last night with 77 points. We are 9th worst right now.

Calgary is 3 points behind up with a game in hand....rooting for Coleman and Sharangovich for the rest of the season now.

Both Coleman and Sharangovich have 29 goals at the moment to lead Calgary. I hope they both get 30 on the same day.

Hey wouldn't a Coleman Zacha Sharangovich be an amazing 3rd line for competing team?
Coleman is "a part" of Meier deal. And Haula is quite nice 3rd line player for competing team.

Zacha was always primed to be a Sam Bennett reclamation project but tbh he's not doing anything different than he did in NJ but he has two elite wingers that he plays with while he just gets asked to be a f*** up and to his credit, he hasn't been. Nico + Bratt could carry him for so long until he just became an anchor to them when he was here.

WTF? I was actually looking at Heinen yesterday because someone mentioned good bottom 6 pick ups and saw he had around 30+ points, I had no clue he was in Boston's top 6 :laugh:
Pastrnak is a demigod tier hockey player, playing with garbage players in last 2 years. Boston is nothing without Pastrnak at this point he is doing it all by himself. Pasta and Kuch are best wingers in the world and it is not even close, they are in their own category.

I’ll always love Coleman and he’s still a great player. He’d be perfect on our 3rd line. But no, I would not want that nearly 13 million dollar 3rd line of ex Devils.

I hope Pens sneak in. They are the only ones winning lately
I don’t, I want Sullivan lol.

I do think they’re the best of these teams on paper. They’re better than the Red Wings, Capitals, Flyers, Islanders.

If we could have a re-do on this season I think both us and Pittsburgh are in.

Caps, Red Wings and Islanders are all frauds. The Flyers are frauds that have somehow masqueraded as a solid team.

You’d have to have a bias against Torts not to vote him Jack Adams if they make the playoffs. If the Flyers miss I’d have to think it goes to that guy we don’t talk about anymore.

I doubt Torts cares much about that award though. It’s gone to a bunch of frauds like Bob Hartley and Paulrus.

As much as we critique NHL officials, they're job is much more dangerous than the job of the officials in almost any other sport.

Between that and the fact that they have to know how to skate, it makes this job more skilled than that of the other sports.

These guys are not equipped to have that happen to them.

What are you talking about?

I just don't take Pittsburgh getting into the playoffs seriously with Nedeljkovic. Jarry has his faults, but Nedeljkovic is too small and he's not a very good goalie. He peaked in his rookie season.

Both goals this period were stoppable.

Referee Steve Kozari collided with Hayden Fleury.

He was stretchered off the ice. It appeared he lost consciousness initially. Dave Jackson said he had never seen an official lose consciousness in all the years he worked as one.

We really f***ing blew it this year

A shame, but next year we are coming back with a vengeance. Gotta just hope our rivals get eliminated in the playoffs this year and we are all set.
I'm very confident we're better than all these teams fighting for those last two spots in the East.

Especially with a healthy roster and ESPECIALLY without Travis Green being head coach or on the staff at all.

All tied up.

Probably not a bad goal. but probably a save on a goalie that's not 5 foot 7.

Which is basically everyone else in the league.

Saros is close, but Saros is a hell of a lot better than Alex f***in Nedeljkovic.

That's gonna hit a goalie that's bigger than him.

Wow. Pittsburgh nearly blew a 4-1 lead in the 3rd....

I mean they showed resilience eeking it out in the end but they shouldn't have had to.

Now on to Boston v. Florida.

Thanks for that ref info. Really an unfortunate accident. I have seen them receive minor injuries all the time including bleeding wounds, but this one is also new to me.

Zacha set a career high with 37 assists with an assist on Charlie McAvoy's goal.

He was coming into the game with 8 points in his last 5 games.
