Palmieri was never "cooked", he'd be the perfect forward next to Jack right now tbh. The issue is his streakiness but he's still a decent skater + defensively to where you can deal with it. Kinda wild the 3 best Devils in the dark days are exactly what's plaguing this current roster in Hall, Palmieri, Schneider.

I recall Hughes + Palmieri never seemed to work well on a line, part of the reason I was totally fine trading him / not re-signing him.

Rangers are cheaters.

That needs a delay call. Rangers were looking at a 2 on 1 break with 5 seconds left in OT so they jumped an extra guy on ice to get the whistle and immediate penalty call for too many men. Shouldn't be able to stop an offensive rush like that or if intentional like that a penalty shot. They almost won in the shootout because of that BS

It’s an indictment on our season that we are scoreboard watching with 20 games or so left. Do the Devils deserve to make the playoffs? Not really. This is the most maddening campaign for me because the team has too much talent to be just four games over .500. When you just suck, you suck…like most of the last ten years.
