Fitz seems very invested in Ruff for some reason. There was that interview where Fitz talked about Ruff being brought in as a partner. What GM says that about a coach? I just think with the goalies and the injuries that coming off last season Ruff can say it’s those extraneous factors and not his coaching and Fitz will buy that.
 
I was getting ready to get back on the road.

I had the game going, rather than music because why not?

I was about drive away and saw a really soft goal on the Dallas goalie. Assumed it was Oettinger, because I didn’t know he was injured again, nor did I expect Wedgewood to be in there again.

One of Pete’s stubborn quirks is not playing his third stringer when he’s reduced to just his backup. As 2013 taught us with Hedberg.

Matt Murray has a shutout in his only start this year. Actually his only game at all.

Oettinger is listed as the backup to Wedgewood tonight, so not sure why he isn’t playing.

Wedgewood probably has Vitek numbers since Oettinger first got injured. He’s been a disaster.

It almost feels like Pete legit played Wedgewood again tonight to f*** us.

No-show to the Flyers, blow their entire load for the week on us, then play a tired and struggling backup goalie two nights in a row while the available starter sits both nights.

A tired Dallas team outplayed a rested Isles team, Sorokin kept them in it

Oettinger wasn’t even on the bench at one part during the game, some speculating hes sick

That was seriously my second biggest question of the week. Why Oettinger was listed as backup both nights, but didn’t play either. I figured I’d have an easier time getting an answer for that.

Now back to my biggest question of the week, which will never be answered.

Why the f*** didn’t we call a timeout during the stoppage while we had the goalie pulled with a little over a minute left against Montreal?

Anaheim is like the new Carolina or Florida. Maybe even the new Ottawa.

Both Florida and Carolina were joke run organizations for years, until starting to become serious in the last 5-6 years.

Anaheim is really close to on par with Arizona for one of the most poorly run teams. Ottawa is still down there, but now they have new people running things, so there is some hope, if not just a little bit.
 
No wonder Zegras (supposedly) wants out of the shithole.

I’m surprised Cutter Gauthier didn’t ask to be traded somewhere else though lol.
 
That crowd was disgustingly loud for the NYR last night. Ducks fans have it bad the Kings fans take over their building form 35 miles away then fans from Boston or NY take over from nearly 3,000 miles away.
 
Penguins score into their own net on a delayed penalty. It's got that same energy of us when we scored into our own net three times in that game against the Ducks in like 2016 or something.

Malkin looks too tired to even be mad. Whole team looks so slow.
