Rooting guide for 1/20
Sabres
Avs (Flyers might be a lock at this point imo but never know)
Canucks (Leafs probably a lock but never know, West v East, easy choice to root for)
Blues
Vegas
Kings (f*** the Rangers forever and always)

Honestly, looked at these again. Really just need the Blues to beat Washington and we beat Dallas.

Islanders are like hat late Lou era devils team that couldn’t win in a shootout except now with 3 on 3 they can’t even get to the shootout

In a weird way I'm impressed by how they refuse to lose in regulation. They have less RL's than the Devils! LOL. But they also don't win in regulation.

11 OTL's halfway through the season is legit crazy. What's the record for most?

There’s not a single goal highlight from last night, other than maybe one per game.

Does the league now consider these pirated?

So what can I do now? Watch every game replay on ESLN+?

This better be a one night thing. Not even any highlight videos on YouTube.

Did I miss the announcement?

Glad I wasn't the only one wondering that. I was gonna check the highlights of the game but they don't have any of last night's up yet. They've only uploaded one video, and it was a short, in the last like 18 hours, so maybe they're having technical difficulties.

And the goal highlights from Thursday’s games were like 7-10 seconds.

Weird.

The Sportsnet YouTube has like 80 second clips of the games which leaves out some goals.

I’ve had to look them up through the on demand full replay feature on ESPN+ for my reviews.

There’s already a thread on the main board, so people are catching on.

I’m fully expecting the NHL to have an explanation that people need to subscribe to some service if they wanna see all the goal highlights.

Same. I went to watch the game highlights in YouTube and they're usually 8-10min long and last night’s was 1min and 14sec. Also the Wednesday highlights were unusually short too.

I didn’t think the second one was, but whatever the goal that was the Palmieri wraparound? That just really sucked. I think that tied the game.
 
Videos back up today, at least for the Lightning/Sabres game. Though they’re only 10-seconds long.

I’m still pissed about last night.

I was confused by this too. Sometimes I like to show my son the highlights from the previous night's game, especially if it was a win. Today they didn't have it and I had to show him the short version with just the goals.

He still loved it and shouted "Go!" after every one, but it wasn't the same.

Last year’s Islanders were the 13-14 Devils.

This year they seemed to have made the natural progression towards the 14-15 Devils.

Hopefully this summer they don’t continue the natural progression and be the 2015 off-season Devils, who fire Lou. Lou with the Islanders is better for the rest of the Metro.
