I hate the Bruins more than any team in any sport.

They threw their last 2 games to get this matchup and you would think that would fire up Toronto to not be their 1st round bye again, but nope!

Now I'll have to hear another 2 weeks of "I don't see anyone who can beat them" BS

For how much everyone slurps Boston…..they haven’t won a cup in roughly 15 years

You would think these guys are perennial cup winners

Boston doesn't bother me :dunno:

And my wife has a lot of really annoying Bruin fan family members and they still don't bother me ...I hate the Patriots and Bill the booger eater Belichick much more.

The maple leafs are the f***ing worst. You’d think at some point they’d get sick of being a playoff laughing stock and come out with some unprecedented intensity. But nope. Just another limp dick performance where it looks like they’re scared shitless.

Also, Boston has choked more series than any team in the last 15 years. It just happened last year lol.

The Leafs don’t know how to get fired up. Boston’s in their heads, and not just the players. Management has been laser-focused on Brian Burke’s Truculence for like 20 years but they keep taking shortcuts. You need Tom Wilsons and Hampus Lindholms, not Ryan Reaves and Ilya Lyubushkins (and David Clarksons).

TBH i think it’s partly the fault of the market, the microscope isn’t good for anyone. Every trope of hockey fandom is magnified tenfold, from anti-euro bias with Nylander to the need for Max Domi to sucker punch McAvoy for no reason. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the richest team, which should have far and away the best hockey minds and resources on earth, has the longest championship drought in the sport.

Samsonov is the worst goalie in these playoffs save for maybe Cam Talbot, who is a late 30s journeyman.

The Leafs knew there was a problem with this trashpale when they waived him months ago.

I want nothing to do with Sheldon Keefe. Let Ottawa or some other team hire him.

They can’t afford this when they’re playing against either of Boston’s goalies. And Boston has the better coach too. This guy is an overrated buffoon. Overrated by Toronto’s media.

Someone should make an AI alternative game where the leafs win to play in Maple Leaf Square....it would be the greatest prank of all time.... rioting because of AI would make a great headline..... like Canada's version of Orson Wells War of the Worlds radio broadcast.

“intensity” is a bit of a trap, IMO. Look at every series the Leafs have lost with this most recent core and the problem is they can’t score goals. They need someone like Dougie as much as they need some gritty role players.

Patriots are the only local team I like. I don't mind the hate from everyone though. It happens when you win. Nobody hates the Jaguars.
