Eh, I don't trust Carolina against them. Carolina to them is like what the Capitals were to them in 2012-2015. It was the other way around in Washington's favor in 2009/2011, so maybe it can turn eventually in the Canes favor.

I do think we can beat them again though.

I have serious doubts about Carolina as a championship contender. They seem like one of those teams that are always good, but never win anything or get to the finals.

And as much as I was slagging current Bobrovsky at times? Current Andersen is an absolute joke, 2022 Raanta is an absolute JOKE. Maybe Kochetkov if they ever bother using him for more than 1 game might be the guy who finally pushes them across the line? Maybe? It's not happening with the Andersen's, Raanta's and patchwork goalies. Maybe a younger patchwork goalie like their version of Adin Hill can be some rando guy that gets it done for them, but not one of those old, broken down f***s like Andersen or Raanta.

I was ambivalent about the Rangers losing at the start of the playoffs because of how much the Devils pissed me off this year I thought we deserved that humiliation to an extent...but the absolute wild homerism with the media all postseason (local and national) rallied me back over to the dark side lol

Only sorry I’m on an island in Maine where I can’t tune in and see Valiquette crying about it on their post game.

They got owned in this series. The talking heads saying if it wasn’t for Igor are absolutely right. They would have got swept. The refs also put away the whistles in this series. They got 15 power plays, 2.5 a game. A far cry from the 4 or 5 a game they seemed to be getting early on.
