Florida scores with 3 minutes left on a questionable high stick and a failed challenge by Edmonton giving Florida a pp. Florida then takes a to many men, oilers kill penalty and ties the game with 4 seconds left. Oilers then go on and win it in OT

Brutal loss for Florida

Yes, but have you considered how hilarious it is that every team involved in the Gaudreau, Tkachuk drama last summer is eating shit right now?

That actually looks a little like Dubas.
It’s weird because I would bet probably close to 50% of the coaches in the league or more wear glasses at least sometimes. Ruff is certainly one of them, though he didn’t wear glasses not too long ago. At least not on the bench he didn’t.

But for some reason, every time I think of an NHL head coach wearing glasses the first one that comes to mind is Paul Maurice. Maybe cause guys like Lindy didn’t wear them when they were somewhat younger and Paul has since the 90’s.

When I think of coaches with glasses I immediately think of two guys: Tom Renney and Craig MacTavish.

Renney definitely, but I always see McTavish as the only guy on the ice skating around bucketless. He’s had to have been retired for 25 years now, but I always remember him more for being the only guy out on the ice with no helmet, more than his coaching stints.

But he definitely has always worn the glasses since the playing days ended.

It's not just glasses. It's the STYLE of glasses

Rooting for Tampa tonight.

I'd like for the Devils to remain in first place OVERALL. :)

Would be hilarious if the Flyers beat the Isles but I'm not holding my breath.
Interesting watching Boston because they play with the same pace we do. Relentlessly attacking puck possession and fast breaking the other way instantly with warp speed. I would say we have a little more true straight line speed than they do, and with Jack and Bratt, more creativity and certainly we are younger overall. They are a heavier and more physical team on the other hand.

Zacha is fitting in well there with little pressure on him. Pasternak is a beast and using his size, skating and strength to be more dominant than ever. Montgomery has him at a different level in how he is taking the puck himself and not relying as much on his linemates to create for him. He is creating for them.

Jarry STUNK on both goals. Both some of the worst rebounds I've seen this season. Especially the second goal, where he dropped it out of his glove after a weak a shot and lost it and they came around the back of the net and wrapped it around while he was over like a trashcan blown on its side by the wind.

John Marino looked terrible on both those goals as well.

Both teams end up with too many men on the ice and out of the confusion Carolina gets a 2-on-0 to win

3 goals on 7 shots against Bob already

Thought maybe they'd put Knight in, even though he played last night.

They probably feel the game is already lost.
