Parise has looked good for them when I watch them, old man can still make plays
He's now the fourth oldest player (not including permanently LTIR'd guys) in the NHL behind Craig Anderson (the only player in his 40's this season), Mark Giordano and Joe Pavelski, who's only just about 2.5 weeks older. They're both born in July of 84.

Parise still looks pretty young, he's aging very well, unlike 1989 born Antti Raanta who looks like he was born no later than 1979 and that's even a stretch. He looks like absolute hell for a guy that young.

Halak has to be in the top 10-15 oldest in the league himself, as he's not even an entire year younger than Pavelski and Parise.

Wait, has Eric Staal been signed by the Panthers? Or is he still on his PTO?

Never mind, he's not even older than Parise and Pavelski. I thought he was born in late 83 or early 84, but he's October of 84., probably because he's from the same draft as Parise. I forgot Parise was an overager in that draft, as was Pavelski.

Henrik Lundqvist on TNT tonight.

Nice to see a better looking face than Biz and his Coyotes loving mug.

Potvin calls games right? Or at least used to? He’s good on the call
He's retired from that now.

He was with the Panthers for a long time, maybe from their inception? And then he was apparently fired in like 2009 or so by Michael Yormark, the guy that was trolling Devils fans during the 2012 playoff series. I don't remember what his role was with the Panthers, but he wasn't there very long and as soon as he moved to go do something else, Denis Potvin came back to do color commentary for the Panthers for about handful of years before retiring. He was with the Senators for the few years in between his Panthers stints.

He was okay early on, but he got really awful towards the end. He was a gigantic homer, would complain about every call against the Panthers or every non-call the Panthers didn't get.

And he even controversially went off about the Sedin's on one broadcast when the Panthers were playing the Canucks. I think he said one of them was classless and a low life. Of all the players to say that about, the Sedin's were really some of the last people you could say that about. Those two were every bit as likable as Patrik Elias.
