Code BLACK, you mean.
Ahh, I'm not all that educated to the different colors lol.

Code red is the red Mountain Dew that I used to like back in 2001 (or whatever year it first came out) and for the last 18 years (or so) I've gotten close to sick every time I've tried to drink it.

Shit gives me heartburn, which most sodas do not.

Code Red is about the only flavored Dew I like. That and LiveWire (which is orange flavored). Good old regular Dew I drink like effing water.

Good sign, but it might still be a game time decision.

I hope the Lightning bury them tonight. No second chances.
To be quite honest, I'd rather Point play tonight and bury them while they have room for error.

Otherwise, in a Winner-Take-All Game 7 where *ANYTHING* could happen, I don't want those Rags (who have a horseshoe up their ass) to somehow luck their way into the Finals....

Play Point tonight and END THIS.

Sounds like Kakko is going to be a healthy scratch tonight. If true, have to imagine he is likely done in NY. Three years in and getting scratch for the biggest game of the year? Even if they win, then he likely isn’t getting back into the lineup.

Obviously if it comes out he is injured, that’s different.

Trade for Puljujarvi at the draft. Send Kakko an offersheet the second FA opens up. Rangers would likely match rather than let their 21 year old 2OA walk to their rival. If they do match though it makes them uncomfortable. If they can't match then even better

This is why I really don't like Gallant anymore and I'm kind of glad we don't have him.

Reaves would almost definitely be here if he were here and he seems to value grit and toughness and blah blah blah blah over skill.

It's not a great team, but he sandbags them with some of these baffling moves and the usage some of these idiots get.

The Lightning need to take advantage. Reaves make the team worse because he's a complete and total crater.

I’d do that in a heartbeat

And apparently, he and Slaf are totally similar players. :sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm:

Lol, get over yourself. I gave Slaf credit as a player and you’re acting like he’s McDavid esque

Slaf has way better skill. Kakko's great with possession but seems to fail on transitioning possession into goals.

Kakko did a much better job of converting on those plays at the Liiga level than Slaf did though. Maybe Slaf is able to put it together better in the NHL.

I don't even know the point he is trying to make lol. Those are literally things that are being said all over again now (and the players have been compared to each other and are similar no matter how much he tries to deny it).

Agreed 100%, we dodged a massive bullet with Gallant. I’m not a fan of Ruff at all but he’s a placeholder coach, he was brought here to help the kids grow which he’s honestly done imo. Once the Devils are ready to be yearly contenders, he’ll be fired for a much better coach imo. We’ll look back on Ruff’s tenure once this team is competing and be glad we didn’t hire a rethread like Gallant who gushes over size over skill.

Someone with more skill and better skating will probably benefit from the smaller ice surface where some guys struggle to create space.

I think Lambert will fair decently in the NHL for this reason, provided he can be more disciplined
