I like a lot of LA prospects but I wonder if some of them would have been better served an extra 1-2 years in Europe or College! I'm talking about Fagemo,Turcotte,Nousianen,Lee,Helenius especially! Did wonders for Forsberg,Selanne and others not that I'm saying any of our prospects would ever be considered in the same sentence or breathe not even close. But playing 25 minutes per game developing is better than 10-14 minutes

Deuces Wild as Vin Scully would say on a good night for Ontario.

Andre Lee with 2, Fagemo with 2, Peterson with 2 goals against on 22 shots for 20 Saves.

Peterson regaining form would be huge, Fagemo with 16 in 33 games, Spence with another 2 assists....35 pts in 42 games , 32 being assists. Kid is the real deal.

Just looked at the reply again after the Reign said he’s week to week with a lower body injury and it looks like his left leg took an awkward angle with all his weight.. not much head contact from the hit or the boards, so there’s that good news

You know it's bad when we're like 'oh thank god it's just his LOWER body again' haha

.900 in the AHL isn’t really “regaining form” though.

I want him to at least be worth half his contract, but I really don’t see it happening.

11th , 5 vs Guls

Corey Schneider has a .919 this year, and I don’t think anyone is predicting his resurgence.

I really do want cal to get back to form, but I really haven’t been super impressed by his play or body language with the Reign this year, all numbers aside.
hes still in the top 10 in save % though...id much prefer that to him stinking in the AHL too.

Id be weary of trading Chromiak
Absolutely!
Sniper that can pass, sticks up for teammates.
HE is moving up the depth chart faster than anyone after an adjustment period.

Sending Cal down was a season saving move.
You can give him another go next season if not during the playoffs if Quick and Copley falter or injured.
Its the prudent move given the salary investment.
See how it goes then you can think about a cap dump trade or a buy out but right now too soon.
I wouldn't mind a cheap rental on LHD and goalie but I am not sure we can get anyone better than what we have for cheap.
The Stecher move last season was a great one.

Blake is doing a great job of keeping guys on show me contracts and communicating with others like he did with Mikey.. He lets them know hey we are a little tight right now we intend to sign you longer term when the space open up next year.

The Cal move aside, I am very happy with Blake's planning, how he structures salaries, develops, evaluates and makes the pieces earn the honor of being a part of a team in its playoff, Western Conference and Stanley Cup underdog window.

I have read all the complaints about Blake and I acknowledge these viewpoints.
Look at how Edmonton and Vancouver have been run.
No need to repost the same old viewpoints, they are possibilities, admittedly.
Time will tell one way or another.

This is a good game
I don't post scores.
Ontario skating CV is good.
Yeah these expansion teams have a much better set up then before Veg gas.

Statement game from Cal and Madden, hopefully not too little to late, Fagemo syck shooter.
Keep an eye out for the rain.

I really like the way Kal Petersen played today.
I think he is ready to go back to NHL.
