Forgot Reign had a game. Looks like both the Kings and the Reign decided tonight will be the night they both sh*t the bed together. Ugly.

After taking time away from the team on a personal leave of absence, it has been mutually determined that John Wroblewski will not return as Head Coach of the Ontario Reign.

“Thank you to the Ontario Reign and everyone with the LA Kings organization for all of their support during my leave of absence.” Wroblewski said. “After discussions with the team, we have come to an amicable agreement that will allow me to go in a different direction. I’m looking forward to returning to coaching at the appropriate time.”

The Reign will continue with their current coaching staff led by Assistant Coaches Chris Hajt and Craig Johnson.

In the meantime, anyone know what Ontario's lines are? This is how they lined up on Saturday:

Burke – Tynan – Frk
Sutter – Thomas – Wagner
Tkachev – Vilardi – Fagemo
Ulett – Pav – Doty

Gaunce – Grans
Kasastul – Strand
Lohan – Phillips

It's possible that Grans gets called up too, hurting Ontario even further.

Okay? Some of us also care about the Reign too. Any player that can help the Kings should obviously be called up to the Kings, but I still wonder how Ontario's going to fill out a full roster.

Though with some seasons nearing an end they may just try to fill it with their pipeline?

- Shafigullin's season is over in the KHL
- Helenius and Markstrom's teams in Liiga won't qualify for the playoffs. Their seasons end on 3/22
- Hrenak's season is over in St. Cloud, and it was his 5th year
- Andre Lee (junior) and Faber (sophomore) are both good enough to go pro, and are in the playoffs
- Francesco Pinelli and Kitchener is on the bubble of making the playoffs, though their regular season doesn't end for another month.

So, I guess depending on how long everyone is expected to be out, they won't have much choice but to make a couple emergency signings at the AHL level. Long term, though, they have options who should be available by the playoffs.

With Turcotte, Madden and Dudas injured by my count they need at least one defenceman and one forward just to ice a full 18 skater team. If those forwards heal up they just need someone on the blueline UNLESSSSSS they have to call someone else up to fill in for Bjornfot but we still don't know whats going on with Matt Roy. He's not on IR so....

That's the one. Yeah I've seen them experimenting so they must not have been too high on him but I thought he was servicable and would get them by on at least a fill-in basis. But they must be pretty comfortable with the day-to-day status of some of the guys .

They should ride Lethemon in goal to see what he can do. He’s been good in the few games he’s played, it’s a great time to see what they have in him. We had that one goalie who spent a little time in the ECHL then came out of nowhere to have a great career, it’s worth a shot.
