JAD with another tonight. I'm glad the Kings are pretty healthy and they haven't needed to recall anyone lately, but he and Vilardi have really taken steps and need another look soon.

And I see Wagner is trying out a new niche, being an asshole on the ice. It's working, he's racking up the PIM's. A lot of teams are looking for tough guys who can skate, maybe he can carve a spot out in a different org.

Just don't start comparing him to Zegras. I suffer a mini heartstroke every time I watch Zegras out on the ice. Kid is something special while Turcotte just cannot stay healthy.

You don't worry about it. The world keeps spinning. If he can't stay healthy, then you don't factor him into anything directly, and that's why you have to get guys like Danault and Arvidsson. Then at some point, if Turcotte is good to go, the more the merrier.

Thought Madden had a very good game too. Tynan always a force. At what point to we become concerned about Akil Thomas? 15 games, 0 goals, 1 assist.

I recently watched all 3 Reign games in Stockton, and I really gained some appreciation for Turcotte, Vilardi, Spence and Frk. Frk is an NHL player. His ability to get his shot is impressive. He is a leader on that team, hustles, stands up for his teammates and just flat out rips it. Vilardi looked really good on the wing. He has that great nose for the puck and can stick handle circles around players. He looks ready to me. Turcotte is just a flat-out hustler with skill and toughness. He is not afraid to make any play that helps the team. Spence blew me away. He is not a perfectly groomed player yet, but his raw ability and vision on the ice was impressive. He looks to be the real deal to me. He could really be a quality NHL player in the next couple years.

Really enjoy watching the Reign when they venture up north. Looking forward to the last meeting with the Heat. The two teams really don't like each other, and the games were very exciting and high energy. Great seats for $29.

Given his major injuries, probably some time next year to be honest. He needs a strong offseason.

People are really sleeping on Madden. This is essentially his rookie season in the AHL. After missing most of last season do the collarbone surgery.

Thomas is coming back from double shoulder surgery. I imagine it take some time to fully recover from that. Not just physically but mentally. I'm not worried about him yet.
