I think we got a couple guys in Kempe and Fagemo who like to score. Their goal to assist ratio is high. That's good. We know what we've got in them. Park them alongside the likes of Byfield, Vilardi, Kopitar and these guys are gonna light it up.

Jordan Spence is awesome. Great play at the blue line feeds Madden and he snipes it top corner. For all the criticism Villalta gets he's keeping the Reign in this game. Terrible turnovers in the Reign zone. Villalta have saved their bacon.

I really hope he just shuts everyone up. I really do. Just love his hustle and the way he strips pucks is pretty damn impressive. That shift was freakin awesome. Strips Zary then feeds Fagemo with a chance then hustles to take the puck off the board and feeds Strand for his goal.

Turcotte is every bit of that shit-stirring utility knife player that championship caliber rosters need.

Anyone selling that kid short are kidding themselves, he is a f***ing gamer by every measure. Give him time to hone his craft against men, and he will be a puck possession buzzsaw with a bit of skill to boot.

I think what is most impressive is that he's doing stuff like this even more often since he was sent down. Most players let down and take a while to get going again, but he seems to be doing whatever he can to get back, not getting demoralized or offended by being in the AHL.

FWIW Turcotte now leads all Reign players in Plus/Minus. +18 one ahead of Fagemo and has only played in 25 games.

I swear, people who criticize Turcotte don't know what winning hockey looks like. Even in his short stint in LA he was carrying Kupari and Brown. Turcotte needs to be on Byfield's wing next season along with Vilardi. That would be a weaponized 3rd line.
