Very nice work. MacDermid is a Left Hand Shot, not a right. He should be in the first pairing on D, with LoVerde as his right shot partner. A fair chance too that Gravel or Trotman is on this team, so that will shake this up quite a bit in a couple of weeks.

Ok, some sites had him on L and some R i`ll fix..

Kings prospects actually fared quite well on the Hockey Prospectus 2016-17 Prospect guide book.

Won't divulge too much! But the Kings did rank in in the 15-20 range as an organization and had two players in the Top 100 prospects in the world. (Bet you can guess them)

If anyone wanted to slap down the 11.99, it's a pretty darn good resource I was proud to work on. Tons of stuff in here, including Top 10, scouting reports on each team's top 3 prospects, and a bunch more. I learned a ton working on it so hopefully you guys like it if you pick it up!

anyone going to be at tomorrow's 10:00 game?

Yes, 10:00 am.

I am going. Be aware, there will be about 5,000 screaming school kids there for "education day". Look kids, Biz is beating the crap out of the that guy with a seagull on his jersey. Don't look.

I understand they blocked off a section for season ticket holders to sit at center ice that don't have any kids sitting in it. Not sure if you walked up and got a ticket you would be with the rest of the adults or not. It's section 116. Call me a gluten for punishment.

Ha! that was a blast. We got there for the 2nd and 3rd periods, so we got most of it. The kids were fun with all their cheering and screaming.

I was most impressed by Lessio and Guptill. Then I see that they're not big on the scoresheet. oh well, they looked good today.

I almost feel bad for Kopitar... he looks like he's kinda going thru the motions - I noticed him have only 1 good shift, where he "almost" made a difference. It's got to be a little tough being Anze's little brother.

Considering about half the Reign roster were guys on try-outs that have almost no chance of sticking, aside from the first period, they did okay against a mostly AHL roster. I thought Daniel Ciampini looked pretty decent too. Lessio was pretty uninspired the first half of the game. Got better as it went on. Lessio and Trotman had to be thinking, what am I doing here with almost an entire roster of players that will never see the light of day in the NHL, and for that matter, the AHL.

Did Amadio not do anything for the Kings training camp? Was he injured? I didn't see much of him in the televised/streaming games..... and there was ZERO talk of him making the team out of training camp this year.....

What did I miss?

Thanks!!!

He played in the Kings vs Kings and one exhibition game. He had zero chance of making the team this year. I think he needs 2 more AHL seasons before he may be ready. He has some tools, but he needs to improve his skating and strength, plus play against men at a higher pace.

LoL, are you saying he's trade-bait for Trouba? LoL, something about a "rapidly closing Cup window"...... :naughty:

Just saw that Quentin Shore was loaned to the Manchester Monarchs. I didn't know we had him under contract (to loan out).

I believe, based upon what I was told, Q. Shore and Gutierrez were in the Reign camp on AHL PTO's. No independent verification publicly on what their contract status is.

Here is the updated roster as of 10/8 http://www.ontarioreign.com/assets/doc/2016-17-Ontario-Reign-Training-Camp-Roster-a406e190b6.pdf

Privitera is a placeholder until LaDue, MacDermid and Gravel go back to the Reign. Privitera was terrible in the Reign exhibition game against the Gulls. Could also be Scuderi coming down creating even more of a logjam, putting Cernak, Lintuniemi and Sharpie on the bubble.

Reign trailing the Gulls 4-1 at the 2nd intermission, despite having a 5-minute major PP when Gutierrez wouldn't answer Bickel's insistence that there be a fight. Tokarski isn't really being tested, contrary to the 22-14 bulge for the Reign in SOG. The PP differential is starkly tilted Ontario's way, and they're still not really threatening, other than in the first few minutes of the 2nd.

Note: This preseason game is being played at the Ponda.

They sound exactly like the parent club in being completely inept offensively.
