OK, so what are the lines going to be? Thanks!!!!

The Kings have signed Tom McCollum.

PTO.

McCollum is a interesting project. He is very very athletic but when he joined pro he was very unrefined. Just all over the place struggled to brutal seasons of .881, .879, .891. He seems to have calmed down and worked on his technique the last couple years with solid seasons of .922, .916, .923. Unfortunately for him Detroit had by then moved onto Mrazek as the goalie of the future. Could be an interesting project, might be a late bloomer.

Should be a good battle between Campbell and McCollum for the backup spot in Ontario. Both would need to approve moves to ECHL (if McCollum signs with Kings).

Funny to see the Kings taking on these former first round disappointments in Jack Campbell and Tom McCollum.

Hopefully they can develop these guys into something decent, but I'm not holding out much hope. Zatkoff is already set as the backup to Quick, Budaj will likely be the starter in Ontario, and Campbell and McCollum can battle it out for that backup spot behind Budaj.

I figure one of them may wind up in Manchester alongside Jack Flinn.

Can the Kings still send peeps to Manchester, even if they no longer own that ECHL affiliate? Thanks!!!

A note about the regular season schedule: the Reign finish the year with a stretch of five games in nine days... four of which are against the Gulls. The only break is a mid-week trip to Stockton. Both teams better hope they don't draw each other in the first round!

Both teams would be so beat-up their bracket spot would have to be forfeited. :naughty:

Kevin Raine has signed with the Charlotte Checkers.

Charlotte Checkers seem to collect our guys. First and formerly, Mark Morris, then players Roland McKeown, Valentin Zykov, now Kevin Raine. Glad to see Raine catch on with another AHL team. He came in handy with his versatility but we just have a glut of defensemen prospects plus some of those 80 defensemen Lombardi signed will be sent down after the Kings' training camp.

Watson is going back to.jrs. Add Luff.

Luff already sent back to juniors. He will not be participating in Kings camp. He is 19 years old, so he won't be at ONT. Schmaltz does not have a contract (AHL or NHL yet), so hard to say what will happen with him. You also have Quentin Shore and Shane McColgan invited to the Ontario camp, so they are also in the mix.

Ryan Horvat signs at PTO with the Florida Panthers. Horvat has been with the Reign the last fews years on an AHL only deal, including with the Calder Cup team.

Very nice work. MacDermid is a Left Hand Shot, not a right. He should be in the first pairing on D, with LoVerde as his right shot partner. A fair chance too that Gravel or Trotman is on this team, so that will shake this up quite a bit in a couple of weeks.
