Human bowling balls. I love it! Hopefully those are some of the little shits that kick the back of my seat at an event!
I would love to play a round with Paige. I would shoot 180, but have a shit eating grin the whole time.
That’s awesome haha. Also, I’m insanely jealous you went to the Hero!Late to the Paige convo but I have a great story about her that is one of my favourites because it’s one of the only moments my wife’s publicly embarrassed herself (not that bad but absolutely horrifying in her own mind). We actually saw her at the Hero world challenge a few years ago before she really blew up into the following she’s got now. Anyway my wife absolutely loves her and usually she doesn’t really care about celebrities but she just had to introduce herself and get a picture with Paige lol so she approaches makes 30 second small talk asks if they can take a quick picture, I take a picture of them with my eyes trained solely on my wife the entire time *wink* and then my wife says I can’t wait to tell my sister that I met Paige Spiranac but she pronounced it speer-a-nac (full disclosure, at this time I was pronouncing it that way as well) and Paige corrected her on the pronunciation and my wife was completely mortified over it. She never, ever gets flustered by anything or anyone and the look in her eyes and the colour of red she turned that day, I’ll never forget. Like sometimes I picture her face in that moment and I burst out laughing even 3-4 years later, it’s one of my favourite non-golf golf moments.
She was a sweetheart about everything, we all had a friendly, awkward laugh about it. Seemed like a very chill human being and obviously hell of a golfer and rocking bod.
It was in 2019, Henrik Stenson won it. Albany GC is pretty crazy, it’s got the greenest, lushest fairways and greens ever basically built on top of a white sands beach. That’s awesome haha. Also, I’m insanely jealous you went to the Hero!
Great story, and it reminds me of an embarrassing moment my own mother produced for all of us some time ago. Back in the day, many of the Oilers frequented David's Restaurant and Pub. Mostly, the pub. Around this time, Oilers pugilist and sometime hockey player Dave Sememko had his celebrity "bout" with Muhammad Ali. We had gone for supper and were coming out to the parking lot, and Sammy opened the door for us to let us out before going in. My dad says to my mom, "Honey, do you know who this is?" And my mom blurts out, "of course I do, it's the boxer!". Semenko and his group were holding their sides as they went in the building.Late to the Paige convo but I have a great story about her that is one of my favourites because it’s one of the only moments my wife’s publicly embarrassed herself (not that bad but absolutely horrifying in her own mind). Wow that is unreal! That has to be the best pro tournament to go to live as the crowds are so small there that you can get right up close to the players. Stenson would have been nuts to see, just striping that 3-wood down every fairway. It was in 2019, Henrik Stenson won it. Albany GC is pretty crazy, it’s got the greenest, lushest fairways and greens ever basically built on top of a white sands beach.
I live in Abaco now, which is a few hours away from Nassau by boat so we usually play Albany at least once a year. We went again for this years Hero and Scheffler was unstoppable, the guy is so good. Tiger and his son were there, it’s crazy how big Tiger is, the guy is absolutely jacked, he’s gotta be juicing for sure.
Do they like movies? Perhaps some movie passes at a VIP movie theatre would be a cool treat.Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone had any good Christmas "experience" gift ideas for pre-teen girls? I've got a couple nieces that live in Edmonton and find it much easier to send them gift vouchers for experiences than spending the money to ship things from Australia. I've got them Chuk E Cheese vouchers and their last couple birthdays vouchers for a nail salon, but thought I'd get something different this year. Was thinking WEM Choice passes, but it gets pretty expensive for the 2 nieces and my sister to take them. Was hoping of more along the lines of $50 price point per person.
They're around 11-13 in age I believe. Any help would be great.
Here you go: I think you can pay for a lot of these remotely. Its an article a few yrs old but still lots of it is current.Hey guys,

Neighbors here started putting up the Xmas lights as they were taking down the Halloween decorations. Whats wrong with these people? hahaThe FM station I occasionally listen to starts its all-Christmas song list Nov. 1. It’s banned in my house for two months. Sad.
I'll do that. But only because it's a lot better than waiting a month and trying put them up in 4 feet of snow and minus 30 when we have a more traditional winter.Neighbors here started putting up the Xmas lights as they were taking down the Halloween decorations. We have a typical Joneses neighborhood of people trying to one up others, the type of homeowners that cut lawns 2 times a week and take out the tweezers for any weeds..
Then we have renters that are the complete opposite and people that have no functioning shingles on roof and apparently OK with that. That might get roof done once it starts raining inside real good a few months.
Usually theres always time where it warms up a bit now at some point. Every year pretty much in last 10 weve put the lights up in December and often without any light gloves.I'll do that. That reminds me.....if anyone has seen a plastic snowman, around 4' tall, red scarf, with a plug in cord at the back, let me know. Some pricks took it off my porch about 8 years ago. The main problem for the longest time has been not having enough snow to put up the decorations that can be propped into the snow. That and people stealing our lights....
Theres a whole village of this stuff somewhere like Santas misfit lawn ornament toys doing their own thing. Until plastic gets further outlawed....That reminds me.....if anyone has seen a plastic snowman, around 4' tall, red scarf, with a plug in cord at the back, let me know.
